We use this cafe weekly for coffee and breakfast. The service, breakfast and coffee were always excellent value for money. Thankyou.

Have used this cafe in the past, but we will not go again, ordered cajun chicken salad, on my first visit it was a lovely decent sized breast in a lovely crispy coating, today's was little cubes, no coating, & I would guess there was barely a dozen small bits. Music far too loud, the lady on the next table to us commented that it wasn't at all relaxing as everyone was having to speak loud to be able to hold a conversation. Not an enjoyable experience at all today.

This is a lovely little cafe in a quaint side street just off the main shopping area in Darlington. We popped in for a coffee and something to eat, and the first thing that hits you as you walk in is just how cosy it feels. The decor is really well done and being winter there was a looped video of a crackling fire with sound effects to compliment, which really added to the warm festive feel. The staff, who are apparently all volunteers, are super nice and friendly. I ordered a latte, which was very good, and being married to an Italian I don't accept any old rubbish! To eat I ordered a bacon roll, which was super crispy and delicious. Apparently the meat is sourced from a local farm to maintain a high quality. The price was very reasonable, and so the next time I'm back in Darlington, I'll certainly be popping in for something even more substantial! To see glossy films of some of our trips and experiences, please search for our 'Around The World in 80 Stays YouTube Channel', which should also display the same icon as above. This is niw my Favorite place for coffee and Tea Cake or Saturday Breakfast in "Darlo".The atmosphere is relaxed easy going with a retro but chilled decor. But they are far more than just a cafe .Their charity work ( details on the chalk boards) and 360 enviromental ethos is a refreshing change.Usually a " cafe" of this calibre elsewhere would mean a premium for food etc but no their prices are more than worth a visit or two.Enjoy !!!@Parking: This is on a side street off High Row so only pedestrians so park in the main car parks and a short walk.
