We went for Christmas Dinner, Kids starter was a small single slice of garlic bread and other was 2 cocktail sausage pigs in blankets. The order was wrong for the main had to reassure them with an email for the order, then desert was wrong again proved with an email. Paying the bill at the end i paid for someone else's bill only notice when i checked the receipt. I was given a partial refund for the difference i paid, but poor service.

Update on my original review after going for food today. Ordered fish and chips. The fish was dripping oil, but the chips were really dry. Ordered drinks and got my Daughter a half of cola which came with no straw. Wasn't told it was actually a bottom less drink until I got the bill. Customer service was very awkward and considering the place was empty we felt rushed.Can't say we'll be back anytime soon

Visited on Christmas Eve as a family of 8 and thoroughly enjoyed our visit. Our booking started as a table of 3 with 2 additional phone calls to increase that number - the staff are lovely and always so accommodating ? Bearing in mind we had 2 professional chefs in our party we found everything more than satisfactory. Service was attentive and friendly, food was lovely, we all ordered from the festive menu, Staff even ensured we had ample space for our 12wk grand baby’s pram - nothing was too much trouble, from taking pics of our family sat around the table together to a request for extra gravy - thank you for such a lovely family meal at such a reasonable cost !! ?

It was really quiet but it was between Christmas and New Year. The food and service was excellent. The only complaint was that they didn't have several items on the menu which was disappointing.

Visited this restaurant on New Year’s Eve lunchtime to meet my sons partners parents for the first time. The place was empty apart from a couple of tables and the place was freezing cold. My partner and I had the festive menu which we both had at the Beefeater in Cheltenham a couple of days previously. The prawn cocktail was nice but the Turkey roast dinner was one of the worst meals I have ever eaten. The Turkey was so dry it wouldn’t even cut, stuffing ball hard with no centre to it, Yorkshire pudding rubbery and vegetables not cooked properly. I think this was a frozen dinner which was heated up as it certainly wasn’t a fresh meal. I complained about my meal which was left and my husband also said he wasn’t happy with his. We weren’t charged for my meal and We would not have paid for his if we hadn’t been with other people we had only just met. I would never go back to this restaurant again and would not recommend it to anyone either.

Fourth time we have enjoyed Christmas Day lunch at Broomside Park. This year we all agreed, better than ever and not over priced in comparison to other local venues. The food was well presented, tasty and plentiful. The service as ever attentive, friendly and evident that the all staff ensuring we had the best Christmas lunch experience. Special thanks to Craig for his service. John(manager) and staff thanks once again and all the best for 2024.

Dreadful. On Christmas evening we chose from the festive menu which we'd booked in advance. Despite correspondence on the phone and via email, we were not told the set menu meals we'd ordered weren't on that day. Then when we came to pay, we were told someone else had paid our receipt (which btw had several extras added onto it that we hadn't had) then were told we were to pay £198 for 3 course meal for 3 people. Both receipts were wrong for what we actually had so when I phoned to explain that and ask for refund of the difference I was met with complete ignorance and rudeness. I'll never return here. Disgrace on Christmas at a time when people have very little opportunity financially to enjoy themselves. Beefeater should be embarrassed and ashamed by the shambles that is Broomside Park.

Christmas team lunch with work, warm welcome and lovely surroundings inc roaring fire. Christmas fayre choice was lovely, pate tasty, turkey dinner with the best cauliflower cheese as an extra and plenty of turkey. profiterole’s had by a few and so nice they wanted more! Amazing friendly service from Michelle.

Arrived a little late for the breakfast service but staff were very accommodating. I personally prefer Toby Carvery breakfast but there is more choice here in terms of a "continental" breakfast with fruits, yogurts and cereals.

It has greatly improved from the last time I was there. The tables are nicely spaced out. The choice of food was great. The service was all done with a smile and a helpfulness that was brilliant. I will definitely be going back there in the very near future.

Had family meal here other night and got to say it was very nice. Whole family had sirloin steaks and it was the best steak I've had for a long time. Juicy and very tasty. And even better we had a voucher for 30% off main meals.

Absolutely amazing staff the staff went above and beyond very friendly and very child friendly, the food was perfect nothing wrong with any of it between us we has a mix grill, smothered chicken, combo of chicken chicken wing and Ribs and omg there was plenty, little one had a kids meal a 3 course kids meal and all I can say is great menu for the price. Not a single fault. Had an amazing night. And it was all 5 star. And iv eaten in plenty of beefeaters and this was by far my favourite.Parking: Lots of parking and literally outside the place.Kid-friendliness: The staff was brilliant very child friendly, went above and beyond.Wheelchair accessibility: All flat inside and put on the grounds
