Parked here with my disabled mother in law. Realised that we had forgotten to bring her blue badge but given that we were only stopping for a short period (weather terrible) parked in the disabled area in the hope that we could explain to any member of staff that she had a badge. One of the members of staff saw the car and promptly contacted a parking enforcement officer without even discussing our reason for parking in the bay. When the parking attendant turned up I walked out to discuss the reason for parking without her card and she challenged me to get in the car and drive off. Almost as if that was what she wanted. I discussed the situation but it fell on deaf ears. A lesson learnt on my part. That said disappointed that a member of the Costa staff would have reported this without discussing the circumstances with us first.

Went here as had 30% off food so ordered a drink and a breakfast wrap,tasted ok far too hot tho but what put me off is the price almost 8 quid,this is shared car park with Greggs and i know where ill go from now on as can get similar for less than half price and have a better rewards on app,service ok ,drive thru counter too high, was very quiet not surprised.wont be back here.

Not bad for a Costa.Called Sunday pm.Staff not very customer oriented or smiley.Couldnt have cared less when 2 people were sat in seating area with feet up on tables with dirty shoes..Not hygienic at all!

This has to be the worst Costa I have ever been to in term of customer service from the manager Andy. During my visit today ( there was only two of us in the cafe), there was a problem that the assistant tried VERY hard to rectify but couldn't ( not her fault at all). The manager realised there was a problem and literally turned his back on us and his staff member when she was trying her hardest to resolve the matter. We eventually asked to speak to a manager, he turned round and offered no real resolve at all even though it became apparent that he was fully aware of the problem. What really annoyed us was that someone in his position would not support his junior staff member when she was being a real star. Your manager needs to grow a spine and certainly someone needs to talk to him about his role and responsibilities to his staff and customers!

Met my friend for a catch up over Christmas in the Bowburn Durham store. Bought drinks and food but as it wasn’t busy, we stayed for extra drinks. Just been hit with a £100 fine for staying over the two hour limit. Expensive catch up! What a con - won’t be back!

Worst Costa I’ve been to so far. Saw them pour cold oat milk in a they didn’t steam enough in the jug and then it was poured so that there was no frothed milk at all. Also they used the last of the whipped cream which meant it was very runny and tasteless.

Nice latte, clean cafe not a massive queue like there can be sometimes and it was lunchtime. Friendly staff.Parking: Good parking plenty of parking spots to choose from. Not too busy.
