Wow ! Such a surprise.I’ve lived in Durham 60 years.First time customer here but now it’s my favourite.Friendly staff and good price but OMG the food is exceptional.Very highly recommended.Keema Pilau, mutton balti and garlic naan. ?Parking: Parking for about 50 vehicles but it’s never that busy

3 chicken korma’s with rice 3 different naan breads and one chips. Apart from keema naan the rest was totally inedible. When first plated it was ok but was so wet it even made the chips soggy. Going back to complain was a total waste of time. Not even an apology. Apparently we eat differently according to the owner. Nearly £44 down the drain. Never again. The sad thing was my granddaughter was up for the weekend and it was her treat for me.

Thursday / Sunday Specials are great value and include likes of Tikka starter in the choice which some places don't do.Staff are very friendly.Recommended.Vegetarian options: Every sauce option can have vegetarian option and there is a vegetarian section.Parking: Normally plenty of space on the street.

Normally use Millennium which is always first class, gave the Golden Rice a go on the recommendation of a colleague.Food was very late, barely warm and taste / quality not wonderful. I would not use Golden Rice again sadly.

Fantastic rice, really brings everything together. Sauces are always great and taste much better than elsewhere. Its also obvious that all their food is hand made.

The best curry around the Framwellgate, Newton Hall and Pity Me area.

Top notch as always

Been here many times over the years (at least 20) and it's always decent. Occasionally delivery can be slow but the delivery guy is friendly and I suspect the delay is in the cooking not the driving.

Ordered chicken rogen josh and vegetable methi with rice and a plain naan bread I wasn't keen on the rogen josh but I really enjoyed the vegi methi with the naan I think i'll go old school and get lamb balti with white rice and a keema naan bread next time

Food is always to a good standard. Well cooked and full of flavour and very fresh. Staff are cheery and helpful with orders. We use this place over and over again and their special offers are very good value and keep me coming back for more.

5/5, never had a bad meal from here. Always pleasant on the phone and delivery driver is spot on. Portions are great and tried pretty much everything on the menu, which have been bang on everytime. Cant recommend enough

First time I've been here for many years and wish I hadn't bothered!Onion bhaji was inedible, as solid as a brick, solid paste and burnt, keema rice full of burnt mince, chicken dhansak absolutely tasteless, bland, dry overcooked chicken, peshwari nan doughy and no filling. I wish I could say something positive about their food but I cant! This place needs to look at their chef and whether they need to find a replacement. Waste of money and spoiled our night!
