“We were recommended this place by some friends and boy it did not disappoint! The choice of meats was amazing accompanied by roast potatoes Yorkshire pudding various other vegetables and plenty of gravy. The staff were extremely welcoming nothing was a bother, we even managed desserts of which there is an extensive choice. All the food was delicious, we will definitely be going back.”

“This is a traditional wet led pub which I visited during a brief stay in Durham. 5 real ales for sale which I understand are changed regularly. Also a great range of ciders. Varied and comfortable seating. Excellent barman who really knows what he is doing. The locals were very friendly and they obviously love their local.”

“Use The Half Moon Inn to watch the football when out on a Saturday night. There are televisions throughout the pub and all around the outside areas, and a portion of the outside area has overhead heating lamps. If seated outside you can also order drinks from your table by using a QR code beside the table, with an option to tip the staff for their great service.”
