Never had any complaints here. Small Subway, not the only one in the City, may compliment a pub crawl as it's open late.

Great food, loved it. Had a margherita slice along with mozzarella cheese in Italian bread. The person there wasn't that great and accidentally put some tomato sauce, that'd go on a pizza for example, in my sandwich. I said it was fine as I didn't want to cause a hassle, which I'm glad I did, it was probably the best sandwich I've had in my life, the margherita slice was also good.

the shelves are empty, the fridge with all the drinks are bare the place is messy and dirty with nothing appetising at all. will not be coming back.

Awful experience didn’t have enough salad and sauce even staff haven’t inform me after payment they mention we don’t have right now. Not even offer refund disappoint. Need to improve hygiene and customer service.

Was slapped together making it difficult to eat with food still being part frozen even after being heated up. Can tell the staff really don't want to be there with general service.

Went in here for Lunch while visiting Durham and staff who served me did not make the spicy Italian correctly comparted to other stores of Subway that I visited where staff know how to make a spicy Italian correctly. Staff who made my Spicy Italian put Ham in it along when it does not have ham in it. The staff member did not listen when I wanted to pay separate by using my points for the sandwich and pay the rest on my card and I had to pay £5.79. The Staff member who served me did not ask what bread I wanted for my sandwich just picked any bread out and random.

Cancelled half my order due to being out of stock which is fine, but I didn't get chance to amend it, they wouldn't answer their phone (was trying to get through for a solid 30 minutes) I had to talk through the driver as the subway staff wouldn't speak to me for some reason, extremely unhelpful. Was told to go through Uber eats and order a separate order, which was gonna cost another £5 odd delivery and I would have to repay for an order that I've already paid for (should have paid £0 delivery for whole thing anyways) gave them another chance since the past few experiences have been rubbish, but I won't be ordering again, Cheers

Subway food is good but this particular store is terrible. As many reviews have stated hygiene is the main issue. The staff don't wear gloves and pick up all the ingredients with their bare hands. In no other subway have I witnessed this, service is slow and the staff seem to change monthly, I suppose for good reason. Everything screams bare minimum effort from the decor to the fact the staff are always chatting in the back. The food doesn't look like it's been stored properly and half of the ingredients never seem to be available (probably couldn't be bothered to order it all after they've run out...), Not to mention the cross contamination of ingredients, I have even seen bits of meat dropped by the staff from a previous sandwich in the salad, tomato section etc .SERIOUSLY DO NOT VISIT THIS SUBWAY!The poor overall quality is 100% down to the staff and this store should really be shut down and revamped before opening again. The staff just don't care and that's not the attitude you want from someone who's preparing food for you...

I purchased a meal from this store and was shocked to see the sandwich artist that served me came from the front door where he was smoking,went behind the counter and served me...WITHOUT washing or sanitizing his hands first..Needless to say I couldn't bring myself to consume the food so paid all that money for a soft drink!!!.What ever has happened to health and safety and food hygiene procedures...??
