Had a lovely night here with some lovely work colleagues. Brilliant place for a catch up. I had the vegetarian Mediterranean tart and chose seasonal veg and new potatoes. The tart was delicious but when my veg arrived there was no potatoes. When I queried this I was told that they had run out, unfortunately I wasn't offered any replacement. Others had chunky chips and roast potatoes so any would have done. Apart from this I cannot complain as it was lovely. I had red velvet berry cheesecake for dessert which was melt in the mouth delicious. Shout out to Lewis and the rest of the staff fur being so attentive. We had our Christmas meal here last year and have not been disappointed. I will definitely be visiting again. It is a lovely place for a catch up and I'm pleased that they could accommodate our party as the poachers pocket said our party of 8 was too large, so thank you very much for a lovely night.

A lovely catch up with the girls here tonight, food and service was great. Shout out to Keane and Nile for being patient with us, as we had 25 years to catch up on, and were rather slow at ordering and eating! We'll definitely come back.

A very pleasant surprise! Lovely food and a great building, much larger than it looks from the outside. The pizza and lesagne were both delicious, the chips were the biggest I've ever seen and the kids loved the Nutella calzones for dessert.

Well We've had few meals to take out and dine in here... they we're all pretty much appalling to say the least. We waited 2 hours one time for a couple of pizzas to be cooked !!!You stick to the bar like glue, which they have poorly done with something cheap and tacky!!We have Watched other people's orders come out and even seen a hair on one plate on its way past, which the customer had to mention instantly...The place looks canny like but that's all I would say for this place..The Staff are all miserable, can't have a laugh and stand about doing nothing just talking between themselves!!...Absolutely nothing Italian about the place !!! The chefs are all English and never seen real Italian food themselves never mind being able to cook authentic Italian food like there website says !!!We won't ever be back, we gave it plenty of tries only because we're locals but never again

Want here as local to place staying for a wee birthday break.Seems the staff a very lax. Had booked the table, arrived at the appointed time, got seated, and then orderedFirstly, some items off the menu, the wife order sea bass, but it seems they never Succotash as per menu. So, it's not a real big problem. I ordered the steak pie [(or beef and ale pie as per menu) not availableSo I ordered the chicken wrapped in bacon. Should come with clapshot, it did not, only potatoes and chicken. No explanation nor apologySeemed staff more interested in a large group that are there. The person who took our order never saw him again.Took ages from ordering to on table. The two sitting behind us, who came in 5 minutes after us, got severed before we didFood was fine, just not as per menu, and took what seemed agesWas going to have pudding, but decided to leave, as service was terrible. Pity but can't say I would return nor recommend

This place was so bright the two staff that we saw were really nice, polite and very helpful. I have an onion and garlic allergy they made me feel like nothing was to much trouble. I give the staff and the chef 10 out of 10 ?Dietary restrictions: There is a wide range of food you can have and if there is a dish you would like the chef will do his very best for youParking: Parking in restaurant car park plenty of spces

Visited for my husbands birthday and from start to finish the staff were amazing. Food was lovely and well presented we had pre ordered and as we're a large party and everything was as requested even the starters requested as mains. Atmosphere is fab too.

We booked a table for 3pm for sunday lunch got starters and drinks quickly then had to wait for and hour and half for no mains to arrive.A couple were seated after we had eaten our starters who ordered and were served starters and mains while we were waiting still.Service times were truly shocking we got up and left, wont be coming back

Worst meal I have ever had. Waited well over an hour for our food, group of 5 of us and not one of us enjoyed our meal. I usually eat all my food but left well over half of it so just shows how bad it was. Maybe we should of all had Italian food.

Came here as I was staying at the Days Inn just up the road with with. It was worth the 15 min walk down the road. Excellent food had garlic bread, pasta and chocolate fudge cake. Was all superb. Couldn't fault one thing. Even the extra touches such as offering parnasan. The staff were very friendly and attentive. Especially Charlie who went the extra mile for me. Well worth a visit !!

I ordered a steak sandwich for lunch. I was informed that the usual baguettes weren’t available so it would be toasted sour dough bread. I waited almost an hour for this meal and when it arrived the bottom piece of toast was basically a piece a greasy charcoal! It was completely black and I noticed the awful smell of it before I started eating it. I complained to the young lad serving us and was offered another meal but didn’t have time to wait another hour so I asked him to just take the cremated piece of toast away. The small amount of steak in the sandwich was very dry also. Other people in the pub were also complaining of the lengthy wait for their food. We won’t be returning!

Lovely food, not been there since before covid so great to see it made it through. Happy hour well timed and good for the kids. Service friendly but a little slow when waiting to order and get desserts, likely just down to how popular it is - victim of own success! Recommended overall.

I was part of a large group (15) who had pre ordered food. A couple of orders were brought out, which were wrong, but they were quickly fixed. I had goats cheese pesto pasta, which was lovely, but not keen on the garlic mushrooms, was expecting them in a cream sauce rather than garlic butter. Glasses were not cleared from the table. Mainly ok.
