Brutal. Tried to order a footlong chicken n bacon can't pick own salad anymore have to have set salad on it. It came out the oven I pointed out he had forgot to put the cheese on. To his credit he whacked loads on and put it back in the oven for a second time. For 8 quid I now had cremated toast with chicken n bacon on. Even loads of butter and jam wouldn't have rescued that.

Stopped off for a tasty sandwich on the way back to the office with a colleague. 2 people in front of us and 3 staff behind the counter.... this shouldn't take long. Stood there for 15 minutes without even an acknowledgement, not even a smile. They had one speed ? slow. After 25 minutes, I finally got round to being served. Asked what was in a set sandwich as i have allergies and wanted to clarify i wasnt poisoning myself. Didn't ask what bread I wanted or the size. I wanted a 6" sub but got a foot long. Ended spend loads more than what I planned and had to give away half my sandwich ad it was too big. All done with attitude from staff. Would definitely not recommend.

I ordered a cheese sub, I was given only two triangles of cheese I ask for more and was charged extra for it. Very disappointing as the subway i usually use gives me lots of grated cheese and loads more salad . Very poor

Incorrect opening times displayed on the shop window next to the entrance. Online also stated closes at 1830 yet was told they were close at 1800.

Just had to walk out of this place! It was too painful to watch them make a sandwich for the customer in front of me and the wait would of taken me from lunch time to tea time! 1 member of staff serving and at a speed rigor mortis would of been jealous of! If you want fast food then avoid this place!

Terrible service - several salad options and sauces not available - not open when it says it is - i can go on - stay clear!
Very little food found between the pieces of bread, chose a veggi option so you would expect a decent amount of veg filling. I have had this sandwich in other Subway before and it’s always been full. The member of staff making the sandwich did not change her gloves between handling the meat for the person in front of me and handling mine, something which other Subway do. Pretty bad really for the price just over £10 for 2ft (two sandwiches) of bread with a scattering of veg.Vegetarian options: The person handling the meat for the person in front did not change her gloves to make my veggi option

Went here recently to get a chicken tikka foot long sub with all the trimmings and it was absolutely amazing, I could not fault it and the staff were first class, I would definitely use this place again if in Hartlepool.

Probably the best Subway I've had! My partner said it was an American lady who served her and said she was very friendly and knowledgeable about the sandwiches. It was probably the neatest sandwich I've ever had too! It actually looked like the advertisements!!

Went in last week, the blonde girl who works there has to be the laziest ignorant women I’ve ever met.She must have ignored me for about 7 minutes, even if she was busy, which whe wasn’t, a simple acknowledgment would have been ok.Then she looked like I was asking for the world when all I wanted was a delicious meatball sub, she let out a large huff to let me know she was hire clearly couldn’t be bothered.Won’t be coming back until she’s gone. Sort your staff out, it’s a joke.
