We had an absolutely amazing meal here following a family graduation, and everything from start to finish was spot on. The food was delicious, the service was excellent, and the atmosphere was just lovely — relaxed, welcoming, and special.

A real standout moment was the staff’s thoughtfulness. Some of our party vape, and given the cold North! they stepped outside — the server immediately went out and turned on the outdoor heaters without us even asking. Such a small thing, but it showed real care and attention.

The cocktails were honestly to die for ? — beautifully made and dangerous in the best way! We’ll definitely be returning and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this place.

First visit and extremely impressed. Heard a lot of good reviews about the coffee and food so we came for a late breakfast. Excellent selection and very good value. Food was hot and plentiful and felt homemade and not part precooked like in some other chain bars or restaurants. the coffees were also very nice but it was the service that made it memorable enough to stay for a second round. Chris and Stu serving and cooked to perfection by Sean and Oscar. Not busy in the morning so lots of seating and warm despite the icy weather outside. The banter with the staff was also friendly and welcoming. Will definitely make this a regular place.

We have walked past this restaurant many times and always thought that ‘it’s busy in there, the food must good’.\nWe called in to check it out, on spec, and were lucky to get a table. The food was excellent.\nThe main menu looked good, but then the waitress then brought over the midweek 3course special menu, which was great value. Wife had a hot shot Parmo from regular menu and I chose the bolognese Parmo from the special 3course menu.Parmos cost £14.99 but a three course meal with any Parmo costs £22.49 and includes a starter and desert,\nBoth parmos where absolutely gorgeous and huge (we took half of one home from later)\nMy Thai fishcake starter was great and cheesecake desert was excellent.\nVery nice, tasty and reasonably priced meal but the service was absolutely excellent. The staff were so professional and attentive and really quick to take orders, bring drinks and food and to clear dirty tables.\nI would definitely recommend and will return soon.

Great pub and great staff. Brilliant atmosphere, which is why it's busy most nights (especially the weekend). We always manage to find a table without reserving but we might be just lucky. It's a lovely pub to relax and have a pint / some pub grub and it's also dog friendly which is a bonus. It's a franchise, so the food is your typical standard menu but it's always been nice with good ingredients and served quickly. I reccomend the ultimate burger ?

Absolutely loved our visit to the Travellers Rest yesterday with family. The food was gorgeous, drinks were really reasonably priced, and the atmosphere was 10/10. Visited today and found the place very pleasant with friendly staff. I had the mince and dumplings, absolutely fantastic!
It was served in a bowl! Not my favourite way to eat a meal. Should have been on a plate. Bowls are for soup and pasta only.
My wife and relatives had fish and chips, scampi and chips, cooked ham and eggs.
All where excellent and delicious. Will be visiting again.

Hands down best Indian takeaway in Hartlepool. Massive portions, good quality meat, nice chunky sauces that aren't floating water and fantastic prices.

Been our go to for Indian for around 5 years now.

Always set meal 4, 2 rice, 2 starters, 2 main, a side and a naan bigger than my head. Typical buy is the tikka korma, chicken bhuna, cashew rice, meat samosa, pakora and tarka daal. £25.

Ordered at 8:15pm and I’m still waiting for my order , it’s been 2 hours and had nothing. I called them at 9:22pm and was told it’s on its way , didn’t end up receiving And waiting till 11:30pm.

Ordered from here 12 years ago then stopped as I thought it changed owners , so decided to try it again and I order regularly now. The food is delicious , the full parmos can fill an elephant they are huge , the pizzas are also very nice. Delivery was fast and food was hot. Only thing is , the garlic wasn’t as nice today as it usually is but not a big enough deal to knock down a star. Picture is a Punjabi pizza.

We ordered takeaway we had ham and pineapple without the pineapple, chicken kickers, chicken strippers, garlic bread and texas bbq pizza the best experience in my mouth ever it was so amazing from the crust to the sauce on top perfectly cooked to perfection strippers and the kickers are so juicy and tender not dry and the portion sizes are perfect I've orders from other dominoes and normally there so small bit these as you can see in the picture are massive garlic bread was soft not burnt I cannot even put into words how amazing it was whoever prepped and cooked it deserves a pay rise because they have put some proper care and thought into making it all will definitely be going there again took less then 25 mins from the time we orders to delivery

Took my mama and nephews for lunch yesterday. Mam and I had delicious toasties with lovely fresh salad and tasty chips. my nephews had chicken curry, rice and chips, which they loved. So much chicken in the curry. i had arry as well and i can understand why they like it. very tasty. We had to take home steak pies because my nephews couldn't decide between the two. 1.8.2025. ordered the buttermilk loaded chicken with fries and 2 homemade currys. all came well packaged hot and geerous portions. tasted beautiful curry full of chicken. and received free cheescake as order was bit late ...nothing major and we were still very happy. cheescake just delicious. will be back for more highly recommend 10/10

It used to be a spoons bar , but got taken over by a local company , tbh I can't fault it ,yes its tired and the same same decor from the spoon's days , but it as the saying goes cheaper than chips .
They serve food till 8 pm , but as being a town centre bar, the custom dies of about then.
If you're looking for half decent grub and an extrodaly cheap drinks you can do no wrong by visiting here .
It's wheelchair friendly, well I say that but you need a person to open the door or you can't get in

Hartlepool Indoor Bowls Club

we brought a team from Barnard castle bowling cllub for a day's indoor bowling. we can't thank the club enough. Vanessa and Joan went above and beyond. They made sure each one of us "novices" were with experienced players and a great time was had by all. We started with a lovely lunch from the club's indoor cafe then had 2 hours bowling. what a lovely club. We shall definitely be back soon!!

Stopped here after a walk along the marina and promenade. I opted for the chocolate and pistachio combination and my missus opted for the salted caramel. The ice cream were delicious and we sat outside and braved the weather. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Highly recommend

Friendly staff, greeted with a smile. Lucky that I booked because the restaurant was packed. After having my meal there, I can see why. The basket of bread was lovely, fresh, thick, light and warm, wholemeal and white. I had the Texas BBQ Parmo with peperoni and bacon, I've had a few Parmo's around the area and this was by far the best. I actually used the word PHENOMENAL when I was asked how it was when I paid the bill.
