Stockton Rd, Hartlepool12 of us turned up out of the blue for a meal, we thought we might struggle, but tables were swiftly put together for us by the friendly staff. From entering to leaving we found all of the staff extremely friendly and professional, especially Josh, who went above and beyond to make our afternoon that bit better. One of our party had a birthday and Josh helped us with the celebrations. Food was very good, hot and all brought out together.Overall we had a fabulous afternoon, helped by wonderful staff. Chicken tikka chat was the best ever and for main, The balti was packed with flavour with just a lovely hit of spice. I cannot fault my experience with exceptional service in a well run and lovely clean and tidy environment . All finished off with a refreshing pint or 2 of Cobra. This was on Friday when the special was on and there was no compromising on the quantity of food provided, both dishes packed with chicken. If you have never been it is definitely somewhere you should try. I hope like me you will be impressed and it will now be my goto Indian in the town

Also ordered 12" cheese, ham, and mushroom calzone.The order arrived super fast and the fish and chips were very tasty, although they could have done with being a bit warmer!The calzone was nice. I do think cheese should come as standard on the calzone though and not really count as 1 of the 3 toppings, but apart from that I have nothing negative to say about this take away and would definitely order from them again!

On both nights we 'ventured' into the White House for drinks and a few beers. All I can say is that on both nights the service was excellent and the food great.The Irish contingent were very much impressed by both the building itself, the food and the excellent service.A huge thanks from us all to Marten, Anna & Lisa - always a pleasure to catch up with you.The White House is my local and I have never had a bad experience in the place. The staff are always polite, attentive and provide excellent service.

The Highlight, HartlepoolJackson’s Wharf - What an absolute gem of a pub. Having dogs is hard work and trying to get a pub that you can feel comfortable and relaxed in - well look no further than the landlady and all of the staff at Jackson’s Wharf making you feel like a home from home. We ordered food which was great and they even have a doggy menu like sausage mash and peas. My dogs wanted to move in. It really is a lovely place and I will definitely be back. Please give them a massive pat on the back and breweries take note there should be more places like this.

We have visited The Tall Ships on a number of occasions and always had a great experience. Out latest visit was no different the atmosphere is always friendly and inviting , this includes the staff who are welcoming and attentive. Our meals were tasty and great value for money and was a welcome change from all the Christmas food consumed. What made our visit extra special was seeing the wonderful Ella back working on her break from uni , she is an absolute joy and a credit to the pub

Catcote Rd, HartlepoolBeen tonight for bottomless brunch. I was sceptical about was it worth £35 per person but we were a group of 11 and it was worth every penny. The pub was really busy (which was lovely to see) but despite this the service was amazing. Nothing was too much trouble and the drinks were replenished regularly. There was a slight mix up with our food order, which I actually think was our fault, but they bent over backwards to rectify. There was a singer on who was brilliant but only complaint was he finished too early - managers took our feedback on board regarding this. Good luck to the new owners of the Fens and their staff, it was lovely to see it so busy and a really good atmosphere - I'm sorry but we will be back ?

The Anchor Tap + Bottle Shop
Lion Brewery, Waldon St, HartlepoolSuperb set up. The beers were fabulous, the ambience exactly to my liking. As a frustrated interior pub decor designer, I'd simply replicate this place for my clients and then sit back and take the plaudits. Note to self: do this.

Navigation Pt, HartlepoolReally friendly and welcoming team. Food was great quality too. Moulles, calamari, king prawns, flat iron with chmichurri. What's not to love. Be aware that parking is in the marina and is charged. The 'myparkigspace' is rubbish and the phone system not much better.
