I recently dined at The King Johns Tavern in Hartlepool, and the transformation since it became a Tees Inns pub from a Wetherspoon is truly remarkable. The upgraded quality of food exceeded my expectations, offering a delightful culinary experience. The ambiance is warm, and the staff's attentiveness adds to the overall enjoyable atmosphere. A definite 5-star destination for those seeking not just a meal, but a memorable dining experience.

Bit dissapoiting when we called in for a lunchtime meal. Discovered that it was no longer a Wetherspoons and the food didn't look up to scratch, so decided not to eat. Went back to Seaton Carew and bought some fish & chips from Elizebeths Way.
