12 of us turned up out of the blue for a meal, we thought we might struggle, but tables were swiftly put together for us by the friendly staff. From entering to leaving we found all of the staff extremely friendly and professional, especially Josh, who went above and beyond to make our afternoon that bit better. One of our party had a birthday and Josh helped us with the celebrations. Food was very good, hot and all brought out together.Overall we had a fabulous afternoon, helped by wonderful staff. Thank you.

The food was delicious, medium rare steak could have been less cooked but everything was lovely.Dietary restrictions: The staff are very informative on dietary restrictions and can easily recommend alternatives. We had a food allergy and was accommodated for professionally and with ease.

This is less of a review for right now but just a consistent one. We have been coming to the Owton Lodge now either as a family, with friends, and even with our work colleagues for the past few years. Though I must say, it’s (somehow!) only continues to get better, with particular improvements in the last year.We come a whole range of times (lunch, drinks, dinner and even Christmas!)A quick comment about our Christmas experience… WOW! Even months before, Matty was so on the ball with answering all of my questions about the booking. As well as the 6 of us dining in for Christmas day, we hoped that we could have the three course to take away too for my disabled family member. Not only did they ensure the food was of a high standard, he still rated it a 10 from the comfort of his chair! The food was amazing that day, as was the service.My mum often chooses the OL for her work related outings too, and notes a particular thanks to Emma who served her and her staff for their Christmas do! Even when there was a mix-up with the food (on their drunken parts… oops!), Emma was very patient and is always so welcoming.Every other time we visit, it’s usually myself and my mum and always happen to be there when Matty and Emma are there. Hospitality aren’t given enough credit at the best of times but these two are phenomenal. They never fail to make us laugh and ensure we have a great experience whatever the occasion!Thank you to the Owton Lodge for everything but Matty and Emma… you’re BRILLIANT!!!!Vegetarian options: Lots to choose from!Dietary restrictions: There are lots of options for those who have different requirements.
