Two of us had a really tasty good value meal each. 15 oz Gammon was very good quality Large portion ,only £8 on Mondays from the grill section on the menu. Hunters Chicken was also a large portion. very friendly helpful staff. Understood my gluten intolerance. Nice decor, very smart. We were on the way to Hartleypool and found accidentally on way.Would defo visit again , would highly recommend.

Visited the stag and monkey with my daughter as a recommendation from a friend. I was not disappointed, food was banging, staff were amazing, the manager Oscar made sure that staff and patrons were having a good time! If I visit again I’ll be dropping by here.
