Had a brilliant stay at Redworth Hall, the service was first class and the food was amazing. Definitely return sometime.

Lovely looking place. Nice spa and amenities although changing rooms were a mess, mainly down to lazy users leaving towels on the floor. Food wasn't brilliant on evening yet it was delicious fron the Retreat area. The whole building internally needs some tlc, very scruffy in places.Unfortunately, our room was the worst. Shower was broken and sprayed out of the top over the floor (and my phone on the sink top area), sink didn't drain effectively, someone else's hair on the bathroom floor, no heating on, even though they knew it would be occupied, delamination of the bathroom door, toilet seat wasn't even the same shape as the toilet bowl, paint peeling off all over. Disappointing. Oh, and unless you read the small print at dinner, there will be a 12.5% discretionary service charge!Shame, I was looking forward to it...

Excellent experience would recommend for a relaxing breakRooms: Room was very cosy the food was excellent and would recommend the restaurant highly.Food & drinks: The new menu is very good though no fish and chips which was disappointing as parter was looking forward to still there was a good choice.Noteworthy details: The receptionist was very welcoming and informative on the facilities available,.

My daughter's paid for afternoon tea for mother's day (but Monday). It was booked well in advance. We are a family who have coeliacs disease and need to be gluten free. The tea was very disappointing considering the cost. The GF bread was stale, not buttered, no scones given a couple of slices of old watermelon instead. They ran out of bread for one of my daughters and she got bread rolls which looked better than the bread. One of my daughters asked for almond milk for her coffee but non available only soya milk.I have had afternoon tea in many places and this was the worse ever. Made worse for me as it was present from my daughter's.

It's a 5* rating because I enjoyed it, but don't expect a 5* hotel as it's hard to keep a place with such history and grandeur immaculate, still a 4*+ though. Great staff, rooms, food, bar and leisure spa

Beautiful old hotel with a spa and leisure

We went for a weekend break. It is set in its own beautiful grounds. The staff were amazing, helpful, and friendly. Our evening meal was fabulous (3 courses). There was a wide range of choice for breakfast. The rooms were comfortable and clean but could do with a little face-lift, but that didn't take away from our lovely stay.

Beatiful place, will definitely return again

Overall a pleasant stay. A few niggles however. When checking in we had to wait 45 mins as there was a lengthy queue. Perhaps it could have been organised in a way so the people for events could check in together and those just staying at the hotel would do it separately. My other issue would be it would have been nice to have been informed that there were 3 events at the time and the hotel would be very busy.Rooms: The room itself was lovely, very clean and quiet.
