As newbies to the area we visit here regularly and quite often get speaking to somebody new. Everybody is extremely welcoming, and the beer line up is outstanding!

We had our first family Christmas dinner here and the food was brilliant; as was the service. I don’t think we will do anything else from now on! The regular menu is also great and I highly recommend the burgers!

The best food in Aycliffe bar non! Ignore some of the bad reviews they have been done in malice because the owner suffers no fools. If you have ever heard the saying you get what you pay for that explains it being a slightly pricer takeaway but I get from here semi regular. The only bad thing I have to say is they broke my heart the day they stopped selling the brownies…. But probably saved me from a heart attack and needing a wheel barrow to get around ?

Stopped by this place and found the Italian pizzas, it definitely tastes good even just simple pizzas & chips, the tomato pizzas are local specialty that we didn't get somewhere else, the chicken & mushroom pastas are nice too!

The chips are the best I have ever tasted, unlike in other restaurants, they are very soft from inside to outside.

Brilliant place. Stayed 2 nights on the campsite at the back of the pub.
Food in the pub was excellent. Well cooked and with huge portions. Luckily, we had booked a table when we arrived at the campsite as most tables were taken during the evening.
All the staff were friendly and extremely helpful....including mending my glasses when I dropped them and they broke.
The second night we were at a party in the pavilion. This was beautifully decorated and despite the freezing temperatures outside was lovely and warm.
A marvellous venue for any celebration.

8 of us were staying at Redworth Hall and decided to eat out in the nearby village pub, only 5 min.drive away.\nThe staff were all so friendly and couldn't do enough for us. The food was fabulous and very reasonably priced. The Sizzler meals were delious, they came with wraps, etc. and proper chips!!! 2 of our party had the leg of lamb with black pudding mash and fresh veg and said it was gorgeous. I would definitely recommend a visit to this lovely friendy traditional country Pub.\n

Beautiful food set in a lovely establishment, servers and staff were polite, kind and friendly and the venue even has a car park and disabled parking. There are steps to one entrance but I didn't enquire about wheelchair accessibility so make sure you do so before going. It has outdoor seating and it's surrounded by nature and trees in a lovely village setting.

We popped here on the way home for some food, I ordered the steak pie with homemade chips and garden peas, it was super tasty! My husband ordered the chicken parmo with chips and salad which he also enjoyed. Salad was fresh but covered in a mustard dressing which he doesn’t like and it wasn’t stated on the menu. The staff were lovely and attentive, the place itself needs a good clean, which was a bit of a let down. It’s very outdated but I don’t mind that for an old country pub but the place was quiet and had plenty of staff that could be going around just giving it a simple clean.

Always amazing atmosphere. Proud of this pub. Highly recommend. Been to see plenty of rock bands and live music here. Always had a blast! ???

The Turbinia we watched Fossil rockin The Turbinia last night and these are all the weird and wacky and random snaps and footage we got.

It was a woman's birthday so happy birthday to her and hope she had an amazing night!

Bumped into Samantha and it was a pleasure to chat with her and see how she was doing! Hopefully see her again at the Tub or elsewhere. Lovely lass and the energy and vibes at the Tub are always top notch.

Everyone is always wonderful and having a good time and you can dance however you want, I did rock out for five minutes but my ankle is angry about it today. I regret nothing! Ahaha!

It was nice to take a break from pain flares and listen to some rock music. ?

Thank you to Peter, my partner who took us there and back and we enjoyed a cheeky Chinese when home. I am calorie counting but it was after midnight so I can class it as some of today's calories bawahahaha.

I'm so glad I chose to go out in the end, and the few drinks helped with pain and it was such a fun yet relaxed environment. I've missed going to the Tub, when I first got out of my wheelchair I'd go here on my own to listen to the live music and I'm so glad I now have people to go with and enjoy with and share it with.

Class night. Enjoy the footage! Battery was low by the end so I managed to get two videos of the band but that was all.

Next time make sure the phone is fully charged ahaha.

Amazing Christmas dinner. We collected Christmas Eve and the food was ready to be collected at the allocated time, along with cooking instructions. On the day we followed the guidance, which gave us the most wonderful Christmas meal. Portion size was perfect with everything you’d need for a home cooked meal, without the worry or stress. We’d definitely do this again next year and would recommend many to do the same. A huge thank you to Mandy, John and the team ?

Had a large cod, regular chips and large mushy peas. I rang my order in before I rocked up ( because the large cod is cooked to order ) and parked in the large car park twenty yards opposite. Despite the shop being busy, my order was ready. The fish was superb, it was fresh and the batter was light and crispy. Chips were spot on.
