Went to sit in with baby and partner. Asked if they had an allergens menu. Before asking what allergen or give any advice the rude waitress said 3 times in a abrupt manner “if you have any allergens we won’t serve you” I stood in shock and I said what she then again said “like I said if you tell us you have allergens we won’t serve you” she then walked away from the table. We therefore left as I’m currently dairy free due to breastfeeding my daughter who has a cows milk allergy.

Regular favorite of ours. Food is always immense, beautiful and plentiful. Staff are fantastically helpful, and it's not expensive (certainly not for the quantity of food!) always a pleasant conversation with the team. Lovely restaurant in a fab location.

I absolutely adore the food here . I’ve never had a bad meal however we always have takeaway and they always mix up the boxes . Four meals should always come in their own boxes but for some reason it’s always mixed up which I find annoying. Apart from the fact it’s also getting so expensive to buy from here (over £50 for a family of four ) as a takeaway , I honestly can’t complain about the food

This is aimed at the delivery driver in Grill n Chill van driving along coast road to Seaham from Grangetown way at 1.25pm today, 31st Aug. You need to stop using your mobile phone whilst driving! You hardly had your eyes on the road all the way until you reached Grill n Chill, we were in the car in front of you and we managed to stop for stationary traffic but you were so distracted by your phone that you nearly hit the back of us, but even then that didn't stop you using your phone, you just went straight back to what you were doing that was more interesting than driving safely. It was quite funny watching your ridiculous driving though, like a nodding dog, head up and down all the time, wouldnt be so funny though if you hit someone! Not doing the business you work for any favours at all, I'll make sure this review is well shared, and the dashcam rear camera on our car makes good viewing ?I do hope this is addressed by Grill n Chill management as this driver is likely to cause an accident!

We just got the last table here, it was busy and buzzing, small but seemed adequate. 2 of us shared a platter, daughet had lamb chops. It was enjoyable but a bit dry, however we ate it all. Staff friendly, and took time for a chat.

What caught my attention was the wonderful aromas coming from the restaurant - as I walked up I was promptly greeted by a friendly member of staff who explained their menu and seating options - not bad for a "kebab house." My wife and I had a fabulous meal (we ate in) and as an added bonus had a great chat with the owner and staff. Fantastic attention to customer service - the best we have seen in a long time. My wife had the chicken breast in Pita (lemon and herb sauce) and I had the lamb Boti. I would have both again; but would also try other items on their wide menu because they all looked great (we noticed what appeared to be regulars having pizza). Though in a small shopping centre you have a view toward the North Sea for added ambiance. The price was modest but the portions were above average - do not forget to try the garlic sauce on your chips!
