This is such a little gem on the harbour especially if you love your vegan / superfood meals! Lovely friendly service.It's a little small so the (great!) music was too loud - I didn't invite my folks because they wouldn't have appreciated it.I had a yummy turmeric latte, a breakfast with haloumi and avo (large enough to share) and a "nice cream" as a healthy pud. That was heaven.Pricey though - nice cream was £8!! Cakes looked more run of the mill.Plastic plants everywhere...which is always very sad considering that we are all trying to avoid plastic bags and plastic generally ?

It does offer other types of takeaway food which we may try in the future. So I would say if you haven't already been here I would give it a try. I am unsure if they deliver.

This is the third time I've visited this welcoming establishment in the last month! The coffee is really lovely and there is an excellent variety of hot drinks, staff are clearly clued up and I'd far rather pop here than costa for a cuppa! Today and my previous visit I have had food. Today I met my friends for breakfast and we all opted for various dishes, I had a bacon and sausage sarny which was lovely and reasonably priced too. I had a jacket potato on my previous visit and had no complaints then either. The food is really nice and good quality and portions. The staff have always been so welcoming and friendly as well as efficient! ... unlike another very close by cafe/bar! We were able to book a table for 7 without issue and everything was plain sailing. The reason I have given 4 star and not 5 is due to the temperature of the vicinity... on every occasion I've visited it has been freezing cold inside to the point it feels as though air con is turned on, its bizarre as the door closes and as such I have no clue how its as cold even when packed with customers. Today we all ended up putting our outercoats on to eat. The temperature would has not and will not put me off from revisiting again however is worth mentioning if you do pop in for food and feel the cold, bring an extra cardy and enjoy!

Stayed here for one night. Absolutely had the best stay. Staff really friendly ana has a beautiful breakfast. The rooms are decorated beautifully as is the bar and restaurant, quirky and loved the decor. Only thing I would mention is the window was left open on arrival the room was cold. Gorgeous heavy full length curtains over a radiator doesn’t add up. Would defo stay here again. Highly recommendedFood & drinks: Lovely menu good range of drinks

Called in randomly this morning for breakfast, as we were in Seaham for the market. Well presented cafe with a friendly vibe. Moving onto to the food, great prices on the menu and fantastic selection. I’ve had a few breakfast in my time and I don’t like the word perfect but this was close. The breakfast was cooked fantastically. The hash browns had a “different fromNormal taste”, gorgeous! The sausages were out of this world with a taste I’ve never had before. Nothing was over done, everything was cooked brilliantly and the black pudding (cost a little extra with the large breakfast)……..I’m going to say it……was the best black pudding I’ve ever tasted. Crispy, and not over powering due to its size, with a taste to die for. Top breakfast, would highly recommend and defiantly be returning when in the area. 5 star from us.

I have to sit in my chair and wait for another customer coming in or out to get in. ?Wheelchair accessibility: Door is not automated so access is awful. And today the toilets were out of order ?

A couple of days by the sea. This hotel is 5 minutes away from the North sea. Quirky and fun decoration in the bar and eating areas. Friendly and very helpful staff. We booked the ground floor accessible en suite room, the bathroom is well equipped for those of us with mobility issues or use a wheelchair. Dinner menu had the usual dishes plus a variety of vegetarian options. We felt it lacked some lighter dishes as most had sauces however we were told we could ask for no sauces etc., Perhaps salmon fillet or pasta may be good additions? Overall we both would stay again and recommend the hotel.

As a family we met up here on 30th Oct 2021 for a family reunion 30 turned up. The manager and staff were outstanding welcoming, meals catered for where family members had alergys were outstanding and tasty. Everything was outstanding. We look forward to coming back. Family travelled from far a field Isle of Wight, London, Lytham St Anne's, Houghton, Peterlee, Sunderland and seaham, everyone spoke of a great day at the mallard seaham. Recommend 150%.

Absolutely gorgeous food and great staff!. A lot of variety of foods you can get!. Just wanted to maybe give my opinion on sizes however. Sometimes the wraps can be a bit overwhelmed in how much there is that when you unwrap it it comes open easy and it's hard to put back into a wrap formation , also the chip portion is a bit big aswell. Don't get me wrong they are absolutely gorgeous and tasty in flavour and they definitely fill you up! . Maybe having different sizes of wraps you can get like how you can get a large or small fish or large or small chips .
