My son and I really enjoyed our visit here.Staff are lovely and nothings a bother.we both had the vegetarian hot dog which was excellent value, and came with salad, onion rings and fries or sweet potato fries. The decor was also great.love the theme and the music.Definitely worth a visit.

I really love this place. The young people serving do a great job - very pleasant. We went for the double scoop ice creams and they were out of this world. The shop seems to rotate the flavours on a daily or weekly basis, so it really keeps it fresh. I was in luck because they had the rum and raisin and pistachio for my double scoop which is surely the holy grail? It was just wonderful. My wife went for the double honeycomb and she said it was lovely too (I can neither confirm nor deny I also had a taste of her ice cream too…) I am a regular and sometimes, during the inclement weather, I sit in to have my ice cream. The booths are great and has an old school feel. It could do with some love and care to spruce it up, but it is unbeatable and great value for money. Make sure to pay in cash because as a small business, they do say they pay a fortune for contactless or card !

American style dinner is a must visit! The food here was so tasty, we had hot dogs and chips and the portion size was great. The ice cream Sundays are lovely and you get so much for your money.

Fantastic Ice cream, we got a sundae each and could not fault them, the location is lovely, clean and atmospheric, really friendly staff as well.

The most adorable mini ice creams are served with coffees and the ice cream itself is delicious!

Popped into here to grab a quick ice cream and was sorry I could not have stayed to sit in. What a lovely little place. It’s like a 1950’s Ice cream parlour with a lovely choice of ice creams and drinks. Also a good menu with items such as waffles, loaded fries and hot dogs. The staff were lovely and friendly. My cherry ice cream in a sugar cone was to die for and not bad at £2.80. I did however think the food menu was quite pricey. Place was clean and toilets were spotless. The parking is paid a bit further along on the street at a public car park. I think this place will be chocker during nice weather and weekends.I will definitely go back

Terrible food. Waited an hour and when it came it was cold and the bread buns for the hot dogs were so hard we could not get knives or teeth through them. £52.00 for four meals we couldn't eat. Refused a refund I requested of half the cost. Shouted at by two members of staff.

A 50s style American diner. Good homemade cakes and locally made ice-cream. A nice touch is the complementary mini-ice-cream cone attached to your cup of tea or coffee.

Waited for 10 minutes to get an ice cream, staff didn't even acknowledge our presence, place didn't seem that busy. On a side note I am glad, it gave me time to look around and the overall hygiene looked a bit iffy to me. I love Seaham as a place, and this place has spoiled mine and my elderly mothers day.
