The salt and pepper squid was greasy. The Sea Bass was excellent. The accompanying noodles were too tough to enjoy.Service was good.

A fantastic restaurant to enjoy amazing Asian food during a relaxing stay at the spa.I strongly recommend the steak with dipping sauce and salt and pepper fries.

Was nice food but very expensive for what you get, we got it in with spa day so what we got was nice, but looking at prices I wouldn't pay that

Tasty lunch before our spa treatments. Lots of Asian tapas plates trying to try every thing on the menu. Lovely set up and great staff.

The food and service was average. - Red curry lacked any depth of flavour and was too sweet. - Beef and black bean was very salty. - The salt and pepper chips were massively over salted. - Although quiet - staff were not present to refill drinks and ask if our food was okay. Overall, the quality of the food and experience did not match the cost of the meal. A shame as previously this restarant was fantastic.

My husband and I went for a meal in the Ozone last night and it didn’t disappoint. Both our meals were absolutely beautiful and very tasty. I had the Thai red curry and my husband had a steak. No complaints at all. Service was also very good. Obviously, it’s Seaham Hall so it’s a bit pricey but in my opinion worth it.

We haven’t been into Ozone at Seaham Hall for a few years and popped in recently on a Friday afternoon, not having booked. The starters and main were fantastic. Highly recommended.

I booked Ozone for my wife’s birthday as it menu and photos of the food looked very good. We’re both veggies and find it hard to find decent restaurants that do good vegetarian dishes. We were not disappointed. The quality of food was impressive. We had tempura vegetables and summer rolls to start. Then I had the best vegetable green Thai curry I’ve had in a very long time and my wife had the Nasi Goreng. To finish we both had Eton mess. The ambiance was very peaceful that echoed the pan Asian cuisine. As the restaurant is in a hotel that has a spa a lot of the diners were in white bath robes. So it’s the first restaurant I’ve eaten in where I felt overdressed in jeans. In my booking I asked for a quiet table as it was my wife’s birthday and we were sat in a corner by a large window overlooking the beautiful garden and there was a birthday card from the team, and the young lady (sorry I didn’t catch her name but she gets married next year) who took us to our table wished my wife a happy birthday, all of which was a nice touch. We had arrived at the main reception of the hotel as there was no proper signage for the restaurant. The helpful receptionist gave us directions and we had an exotic and tranquil journey along a water lined tunnel that transported us to Asia.

The restaurant and the spa look great and there, it ends. Poorly trained staff, who did not know or care what was on on the menu, no attention to detail, we were left to get on with it. No staff were available....and we were extremely patient, so we had to search them out. When we tried to get the bill, two members of staff were on the other side of the room, chatting to each other, in their own world. This was one very long meal.

A wonderful pan-Asian restaurant with a relaxing, classy atmosphere and a varied menu with lots of choice (including substantial vegetarian and vegan options). Staff are always friendly the service is always top-notch. My favourite place to dine out in Seaham!

5* food, worth every penny. Everywhere you go in the facility has a Zen vibe with stunning decor to boot. Amazing staff, amazing food, amazing place. A Must go.

A beautiful setting for a fabulous meal. Very informal as many of the guests were from the spa so were wearing robes. The staff were so attentive, without intruding, we felt very welcomed. Drinks sorted & menu explained within moments of being seated. Starters were duck pancakes & chicken satay. Well portioned for a starter dish. Mains were king prawn teriyaki & king prawn szechuan both of which were scorching hot on being served. Not surprising as the kitchen is a feature of the restaurant & is only a few steps away. The sauce was plentiful & not over salted as many Asian dishes can be. The portions were too big for us to finish so no idea what the desserts were.
