Just bought large chips saus n peas. For a large chips we counted 30 chips. How is this large.... £6.50. Come on Sarah this isn't a value for money portion size. They are getting smaller. Server was too bust not attending to.customer chatting to staff member about her hangover. Betty's so much more value for money.

We had the best reason ever to visit someone called Sarah was with us....we entered the takeaway side and was invited to go through to the restaurant area and someone would come through and take our order. Limited menu, but only to the food you would expect. We had someone with a w/c now this isn’t wholly accessible if you need w/c it is a little narrow but anyone who can transfer or limited mobility can negotiate the way through, w/c is well kept and smells lovely. But back to the food. When the lady returned, she thought we looked a little cramped and immediately without hesitation offered to move the entire restaurant seating and tables around to better accommodate our needs. the food was served on appropriate and clean plates and the food......We had fish bites which were fried lovely light and with that satisfying batter taste but not to doughy or crisp. Awesome....the kids went for Sausage and chips ...of course they did an reported it was lovely again would of been nice for a few more chips....(again of course we would all like more chops...lol) We asked for bread and butter and some beans. my only criticism was I don’t think if your sitting in it should be to much to be asked if you want peas or beans with any meal without extra cost but we were not charged for the cups of beans that came out so it wasn’t that bad....it was just when I started eating I realised beans and bean sauce over the chips was missing. We couldn’t knock the service it was welcoming practical and professional. After we ate, we went through to pay. on leaving we met the real Sarah of Sarahs place and little one was offered a takeaway cup to take her drink she was still drinking, kids.... A thoroughly delicious meal and at only 10 squid a head considering what we had and where delicious. Thanks everyone at Sarah's Plaice.

July 12th 2023 Been going to Sarah's Plaice once a week since start of May . Service with a smile and food delicious. We always use the cafe part and Carol ( co owner ) is that used to seeing us that today she brought our drinks without us ordering first ....bless .Nothing's too much trouble and as you can see by the photo the steak pie looked and tasted great . 5 stars girls .

Tiny fish about 3 chips and still over a tenner. This was the large portion ? Won’t be back.

Used these for two years food has gradually gone down hill. Chips under cooked, scraps soggy went straight in the bin. Before you go in you may want to think about taking a loan out. Day light robbery.
