Have to agree with all the other 5* reviews. Fantastic night, big birthday , a brilliant night. The service was the best I've every experienced .... and we are well travelled. Professional, warm and really contributed to my best birthday night out. Again, must say fabulous staff. Thank you all.

The food at this place is without a doubt the best Indian food I’ve had. We’ve been tonight with family and friends for my bday meal and couldn’t of wished for a better night. Staff and owner Mashy can’t do enough for you, the hospitality, well tbf no words needed. Thank you so much for tonight, much respect. If you haven’t this place is a must!

The restaurant had lovely staff (Hollie), we had booked a table and we were seated straight away. The food arrived quickly and tasted amazing (we had the chicken tikka masala and balti). All of the dishes were priced well considering how nice they were and the serving sizes were big! One curry will serve two people. We would come back to Spenymoor purely to eat at this restaurant again.

Went to aruvi last night to do something for our 47th wedding anniversary. The service was top notch with two great waitresses. The food was amazing, starters were plentyful and very nice. Lamb dupiazia was delicious as was the chicken jalfrezi, portions were very good, drinks were also good and reasonably priced. Would definitley return . great place.

Just had a lovely birthday celebration with our youngest son. Food always 1st class but what makes this lovely place stand out are the amazing staff. Kind, friendly and so helpful. Just love them. A new favourite for us and highly recommended xxKid-friendliness: Great with all ages

We are so happy that we held my husbands birthday dinner here. There were 11 of us who had never been, but all live locally and had heard good things.From booking with them to bringing the cake to the table, the service was top notch. The food - not one complaint as everyone was loving it.The only thing we would want in the future is some beer, such as John Smith or Guiness for those who don't drink lager.What a lovely night and we will be back.

Amazing food with amazing service as well, anything on the menu we didn’t understand got explained to us really well, and you can tell they are genuine people who are very proud of their restaurant. Highly recommend the chicken tikka madras or the Bengali curry if you like a bit of spice. The best curries we’ve ever had and a great variety of things to choose from as well, absolutely going back :)Parking: Easy parking

Can’t believe this is on our doorstep and we’ve just visited We went on Thursday night to take advantage of their special of a starter, main & side & it certainly didn’t disappoint. Onion Bhaji & Chicjen Pakora Fritters to start. Chicken Dansak, Chicken Makhari & Srilankan Chicken mains, we couldn’t fault any of them & decent portions. We had sides of Saffron Rice, Masala Chips & of course we had to add Butter Naan that we’d been told about. Delicious. Every staff member was attentive & friendly. Well worth a visit, we’ll definitely be making it a regular place to eat.
