Very good 1 night stay. We traveled up from South Yorkshire to see friends in spennymoor and stayed over. The rooms are very good. A touch on the small side but perfect for a short stay. They are new and you can tell as the bathroom fittings large tv and decor is all up to date. The bed is very comfortable, with very good bedding. We ate in the restaurant and the food was excellent. Very reasonable for the quality. The bar is also good. It has a large tv and 2 more showing sport....read full review
Arrived and found the pub had been booked out for a birthday celebration. But the staff accommodated us because we were eating in the beer garden. Food was very good, and didn't take long to arrive - staff very helpful and

Fantastic meal, was lovely but more than having a great meal was the service from the young lass that served us, possibly called Hayley went out of her way to keep a very tired 5 year old happy. She was brilliant, attentive and made sure the little one was happy. A credit to the owners of the pub!! Couldn’t praise her enough.
