1ST Kebab, was full and lush 2nd one was a lot less amount and 3rd one tonight was terrible,she put a table spoon of salad red and white cabbage and 2 small halves of cucumber on it.what a greedy woman she is. i won't return i've given them a few chances to be fair with the customer. i asked her if she could mange a bit more salad, she replied i would have to charge you a £1 for it. I came home ate the tiny kebab which cost me £7.40p and had to order food from somewhere else as i was still very hungry after eating the measly little kebab.Get your act together GOLDEN FRY.

Top quality fish. I won’t go anywhere else. The batter is very tasty. The potatoes used for the chips are of excellent quality and cooked in the best oils. Good selection of foods including kebabs & pizzas.Parking: Parking in the street outside the fish shop or opposite the fish shopKid-friendliness: They do special kiddie box meals. Our favourite chippy in the area - we drive from Stanley just to get food from here. Everything is always delicious and piping hot, and there are some great deals which are great value for money, and are available all day which is a bonus. Plus, the lady who works on the counter (I'm sorry I don't know your name!) is always so lovely and friendly. 5 stars all round!

Great fish and chips. Big portions. For me one portion is enough for two people. I haven't tried the other dishes but it's a popular place so I guess they must be good as well.

The fish and chips are hit and miss, I've been before and it's been great and I've been before and they've been poor. Can't go wrong with the kebabs there though.

The food is disgusting kebab tasted off the pizzas had a really funny taste and the garlic sauce was far too watery. It is not the best chippy in the area. The food is far from everyone else’s review and overall the place needs closing down. It seems it’s never been cleaned since it first opened

All ways used this chippy never had any complaints,(until tonight) I'm sorry to say that the chips were rather rubbery dry and cold which in a way spoilt our tea I hope this is just a one off.apart from that it is still a very good chippy
