Station Rd, Beamish, StanleyWe visited tonight with our two children, it was absolutely gorgeous! The food was beautiful, by far the best prawn starter I've ever had, and I am pretty much a pro at rating prawns ha! the staff where absolutely fab, friendly and attentive. All came with a smile on there face and interacted beautifully with our children. One of my children is none verbal Autistic and we where giving a lovely table in the corner which suited so well! My little boy who also will not try any food what so ever, had a try of everything and loved it all! We only happened to find this restaurant by chance as we are staying at beamish glamping, however, we only live a 25 minute drive and have now found our favourite Italians for out family, we will definitely be taking a drive out for our regular Italian meal rather than going local. Beautiful restaurant over all. Thank you so much for a gorgeous evening

DH9 Cafe
14 Clifford Rd, StanleyI just go here to try and see our local celebrity Darren who's very dashing. Just kidding, this cafe is a local favourite and if ever we're in town we like to pop in. The Darren part is true though ;)
The staff is always friendly and it's not a big cafe, but it is cosy. They have seating outside when it's nice weather. They're very reasonably priced too.

East St, StanleyJust enjoyed another lovely meal and as usual the staff were friendly and welcoming. I had the gammon skillet and my partner had the hunters chicken and the food was excellent. We come here regular and highly recommend this family restaurant. However I do have one thing I need to mention, I always get the ice-cream for desert and for some unknown reason they now give you two tubs of the ice-cream on a plate with a cup of strawberry sauce which means you have too eat a bit out of the tub then pour a bit of sauce in, eat a bit more and so on. I had too mention this as it looks very strange when they bring it out. That said I highly recommend eating here as the staff and food are always excellent.

46 Front St, StanleyAs a regular customer, It's a delight to visit Cooplands in Stanley, Co. Durham. A good range of Sandwaiches ready to buy, hot pies and pasties, and cakes are always on display, and the staff are always happy to make a sandwich, or salad box, to order. The shop is always very clean, well presented, and the staff are lovely and pleasant at all times.

1 Kyo Rd, Catchgate, Annfield Plain, StanleyAmazing place ! You can order online or by phone. We have done both and every time your meal is ready and waiting for you . No queuing, no waiting around . Staff are very welcoming & polite nothing is any trouble for them. All food is freshly cooked & fish n chips are first class best in the area. Very good portions on every meal including the sides of curry sauce , mushy peas etc and they are really good portions unlike some closer to where we live are the size of an egg cup and very high priced just a joke. But here you get large portions no grease just crispy nicely cooked very tasty fish n chips. No cheap substitute s like places closer to us. The prices are total value for money. No wonder they do not have to advertise. The quality , taste & service is Top class. They don’t do stupid videos or do anything to upset any local competition. They are just a very honest business that serve fantastic food at very good prices , quick pick up , very well packed for transportation, very welcoming and really nice friendly staff. We will continue to buy here and we would not go anywhere else after trying every other biz within a 10 mile radius. This is definitely the place to go to quick , value for money & definitely THE BEST !

24b New Front St, Annfield Plain, StanleyJust wanted to leave a review - I’ve been using prime pizza for years now. Never put a foot wrong. Tonight- one minuscule mistake was made and I falsely accused them of cocking up the wrong order. It turns out it was my fault for the major mistake, and would like to apologise to all staff. They offered to rectify their error to which I declined on a basis of good will and respect. Will continue to order from here regardless. Amazing food and service.

8 Tyne Rd, StanleyThanks very much to all concerned at Snax for preparing and arranging such a magnificent buffet at East Stanley Club last night for my birthday party.
There was alot present but unfortunately many of my friends would rather frequent the bar than eat!
Many people took food home, tbose that did eat were highly complimentary and the rest will be put on the bar for the club's customers later today.
I am sorry everything wasn't eaten but the quality and presentation was excellent and unfortunately the "appetites" of my guests was totally out of my control.
Highly recommend Snax and will ring Tracey later to thank you all.

The Garage bar and grille
Pavilion Terrace, Burnhope, DurhamThe Garage bar and grill. I went there for a bike meet and a bite to eat. It was my first visit to such an amazing place. Lots of interesting things to browse around and see some amazing vehicles, it had a 50s feel about it. Plenty of tables to choose from with an outdoor area to enjoy your food. Dogs seem welcome too.

South Causey Inn, StanleyFabulous meal on Saturday 24th Jan. Family birthday. As always excellent service, staff are great - pleasant, friendly, and very helpful, nothing is any trouble. Quality food. Super atmosphere, great at helping to celebrate the birthday, all sang and clapped when they brought the cake with lit candles. Fabulous place and people. We love it! Been many times, all great. Lots to do and see outside too. ( one wee negative - we were only a bit uncomfortable when glasses and other items being cleared from our table whilst we were eating.)

Field House, 19 West Rd, Annfield Plain, Stanleyso I've ordered a 1/2 pound beef burger, chips and onion rings, which came to I think £12. the chips are unreal, best chippy chips I've had, same goes for the onion rings. the burger on the other is like a football stadium patty meat, but with the onions and lettuce it does the job but I wouldn't personally be getting again because I like thick burger, succulent. you know. but overall, 8/10

It was cozy, the food was fantastic in our opinion, the staff were very friendly and polite. The food arrived hot and in good time even when it started to get busy. It wasn’t to loud you could hear yourself and enjoy the food, drink and atmosphere.
