Booked table online for Sunday lunch today which was confirmed. Arrived at 1330 to be told they were not serving lunch today. It would have been good to have been contacted to advise that the venue was not serving lunch.

Cannot maintain their opening hours. Tried calling and no answer. Last time wasting my time with this

Friendly staff, good choice of beer, and good food with god-tier fries and hefty portion size.

Booked a table, got an email reminder, WhatsApp reminder, Google reminder all from booking directly online.I was on a first date with a girl, drove 40 mins to get here, and it turns out it was closed for an entire month due to an emergency on the owners part.Perfectly understandable reason, but they should have corrected the booking system and not allowed a booking to be made.1 stars across the board as I didn't get lucky that night due to lack of food from hope and Union.

Ordered half parmo, disappointed in the portion

Food was well below average, between 3 of us 2 parmos that didn't even resemble what a parmo should look/taste like, shocking! Pork belly tacos? Wow! Horrendous and need taking off the menu as the chef clearly doesn't know what's he's doing with this one. Women who could possibly be the manager?? Just rude and hasn't got any customer relations experience. Disappointing as it could be a good bar, but won't be back unless under new management, AVOID!

Unfortunately my experience here for the first time wasn’t great. We waited for our food for around 45 minutes and the Parmo chicken came very watery, for the salad I was given 3 bits of lettuce and 4 bits of pepper as a salad. When the waitress asked how our food was I explained the chicken was watery and she replied ‘strange’ and rolled her eyes. She said she’d discount my mother in laws meal but didn’t. Very rude.

Closed for private party on a Saturday. With no signs. And the sign on the door staying open. How ridiculously poor. Won't be trying again.

Can’t recommend the Sunday lunch in the Hope and Union , food was amazing, beef was cooked to perfection along with the gorgeous vegetables ?.

Excellent Sunday lunch once again. Great service, reasonably priced and most of all delicious! If you're brave enough go for the triple meat plate, it's great. Vegetarian options available and fab choice of beersParking: Lots of close parking, nearest behind Sun Inn on High StreetWheelchair accessibility: We went with a Zimmer frame without any problems at all

First time eating here, not again. Not joints of meat, pre packed,Kept having to ask for drinks, took ages to bring extra gravy then saw cook using fingers to dish the food out, wiped head with back of hand, then man from kitchen came out wiped his nose on his sleeve, not cheap either ?

The Sunday Dinners are incredibly tasty, the beer options are great if you want to try something new and all at a very reasonable price. Genuinely amazing to have somewhere so nice on my door step.
