Reviews for The Shambles Cafe

I'm still sat at my table after eating a fantastic breakfast and just had to share how good it really was. Everything cooked perfectly and the fresh coffee finished it off perfectly. At only 4.75 for a small breakfast which included everything you'd expect, including hash brown & black pudding, it's brilliant value for money. Well done ladies ?

If you are ever unfortunate enough to have to kill time in Stockton town centre then head to the Shambles Cafe in the Market Hall on the High Street. A safe haven where you can escape from the derelicts, druggies and drunks who seem to be in the ascendancy in that area. A perfectly cooked all day breakfast with a mug of tea for a little over a fiver can be yours. Staff and atmosphere are friendly and welcoming. Place is spotless. Highly recommended. It is a small cafe so it is best to get in early otherwise the only seats available are outside where you have the cold wind blowing through. The cheeseburger was ok, it was a bit interesting as they don't melt the cheese properly, they kind of just put this grated stuff and slightly melt it.
