Always had lovely food and drinks here, but on this occasion the Tapas was absolutely atrocious, bland, no dips, kofta was rubbish, fried prawns well...fried to death literally.Drinks are lovely...but food I would avoid, garbage.

I have to say this pub was the worst we have visited during our stay in Beverley, the toilets are dirty, the food cards need wiping, tables sticky and there was a female glass washer stood there doing nothing with glasses backed up. This place lacked team work and love. Which is a shame as we enjoyed every other pub in Beverley full of history and characters.

Quaint, old pub serving a good selection of food. Dog friendly, which is always a bonus for those of us who take our pooches away on holiday. We had the fish and chips, which were delicious due to the fact that the fish was fresh and in an ale batter. Scrumptious and a welcome change from the usual offering from some establishments i.e. frozen and in a cardboard box.
