Visited this afternoon, ordered food off the 2 for £10.50 menu expecting a small portion, no way, fish chip mushy peas and tartar sauce, as big a portion as you would from any fish shop. My wife had chicken fillet burger, full breast fillet, both good quality and great value and a good selection of beers. Definitely will be returning.
We booked a table for 5 people at the Green Dragon for midday, on what was a busy last friday before Christmas . We were shown our table by a friendly member of staff & ordered our food & drinks at the bar . We have eaten here many times & never been disappointed & today even though was very busy was no exception .Our food arrived in good time & its great value and they have friendly & well organised staff . Very full pub, but it had a great atmosphere. Also, a very good selection of drinks on tap. Which seems to be disappearing nowadays in other establishments. I didn't try the food so can't comment on that.Really enjoyed ourselves in there.
