Been here a few times and had no issues, food lovely, took my nan and grandad here with the dog and partner. Asked the lady if a fish with no batter was possible for dog (not had a issue at other chippies) she asked the lady in back who wasn't aware that I could see her and her reaction was disgusting. "No not really what's that for" pulled a face of disgust, when she realised I was stood there as I said this is what the dog normally has she changed her attitude. Let it go. We paid for the items and the women said the small fish for dog would be £8 if we wanted it I said it's ok don't worry if it's a issue we will go to our usually chippy, due to being given a option I was unaware the fish had already been started, went next door to get drinks and unfortunately for the women with the previous attitude she stared to slag me off about wasting a £10 fish on a dog. So I asked the women who was serving me to tell her to please discuss customers our of ear shot and I didn't appreciate this being the 2nd time she had spoken with attitude about us.She again continued so I asked her to come and speak to me to explain what the issue was where she denied saying anything.I won't be taking my custom back there we paid 52 which I have no issue with paying as food is nice but I will take my custom to a friendlier atmosphere

Great fish and chips from this establishment with a bar attached and very polite and efficient staff. Definitely recommend. *****Kid-friendliness: All families allowed with or without kids also allows friendly dogs ...Wheelchair accessibility: Wheel chair accessed , leave wheel chair close by short distance from tables.

Great service from jolly staff, best chips ever! Worth the 5hr round trip to sit and eat by the sea.

This is a great spot for a fish & chip lunch with seating - it’s directly by the beach, you can’t get closer to the sea and sand. We rocked up as a group in January and used the table parasols to hide from the usual Yorkshire showers :) Proper chips, loads of scraps and the best curry sauce - spicier than usual but in a good way. My 24 year old daughter finally tried her first battered fish; she loved it hahah! High praise indeed, well done. Thanks to the servers Leah and Victoria for putting up with our weird requests with a smile!

For me, a vegan, and my parents (both fish eaters), this fish 'n chips kiosk is the ONLY one we eat from in the whole of the Yorkshire coastal area. Apart from on one occasion, in May 2023, the chips are consistently perfect. Chippy chips how chips should always taste - delicious. With a dusting of salt, a drizzle of ketchup and a pot of mushy peas, the chips are not to be beaten. My parents assure me that the lightly battered fish is superb every time. The only other place to eat fish 'n chips, to this standard, in my personal opinion, is at Y-PAS (the little chippy) in the South Yorkshire village of Kexborough, between Cawthorne and Darton, near Barnsley.

Very very expensive. Frozen fish in greasy batter. Small portions. You have to pay extra for a tray lid used to put peas in. £29.90 for 1 small fish and chips, a sausage, peas, curry sauce, ketchup and can of pop. Meal was worth £12/£14 at the very most.

F&C on the pricey side but fresh and lovely especially after a long walk from the park and ride. Good seating, Public (free) loo's round the back up the hill (clean and well maintained). Curry sauce is brill, sweet chip shop style!

If in Bridlington it's North Beach fish and chips. Although i feel some quality reduction in past couple of years, however it's still a classic location.
