Lovely stop off on the walk from Bridlington.

Came here for some food and to be honest it was overpriced for what it was.. bland undercooked brown chips and also fish batter was raw needed another 3.mins in the fryer.... Beers not cheap either and the service was decent... Not a bad place.

Good food. Average price for a main course around £15. Good choice of beers, dog friendly area, pet snacks available at the bar, nice beer garden, entertainment some weekends. Some dishes can be amended for food allergies. Free parking if you buy a drink. Small area available for a few motor homes.

Walked in tonight, we were left at the bar for 10minutes, we ordered food, came in a decent time. We ordered fish and chips with mushy peas, had no cutlery for 5minutes, the tartar sauce came with a hair in it and looked mouldy. The fish was tasteless and very greasy, the chips were under cooked. Though the tinned mushy peas were nice. So disappointed as this was a treat for my 50th birthday. Although I pointed our complaint we were never offered a refund, though the lady was very polite with my complaint. Won't return unfortunately ? ?.

A nice choice of carvery meals, with plenty of veg and - wait for it - unlimited Yorkshires! The staff are always friendly, fun and helpful. And don't forget the talkative parrot.

Came here a few weekends ago with my friend for a Sunday roast. Absolutely stunning, 10/10 for the food, service and atmosphere! Such a cute, heritage and cosy place to be. With a lovely view of the sea from the beer garden too!

Must have changed the chef as the carvery was awful undercooked roasties that was deep fried , curried swede was awful and not a clue why this would be on a Sunday lunch ? Was offered more roasties came back burnt couldn’t even cut into them ? just chucked back in fryer , yorkshires were aunt Bessie’s and soggy meat tasteless left a full plate was that awful , customers at the back of us also complained I really would not of fed my dog this food . It’s a real shame as it is a lovely pub but the standards have well slipped

Really lovely place with nice staff, good beer and lovely surroundings. The burger ordered (the nasty burger) is huge and only the second thing visible from space (the great wall of China thingy is an urban myth). Cracking night in a good Yorkshire pub enjoyed by both my wife and myself.
