Have been going to Medici Brough for years. Unfortunately the menu has changed recently with my go-to taken off! Food on our last visit was very, very salty and it is now quite expensive for a take-away (£10+ for a burger without chips, £13-15 for a main dish).Staff are pleasant and food was prepared quickly. Always seems busy, so maybe just not to our taste.Will still go occasionally but its not what it was.

Ordered from here numerous times. Ordered tonight and was very disappointed. The fries had about 25 in a bag and were £3 per bag. I rang and queried this to be told they have simply reduced portion sizes. So for £9 I ended up with an average portion of fried. I’m partner mentioned the lady in the shop was very rude to the staff working there (2 young men) which isn’t acceptable. I then ate the chicken wrap which was very soggy. Extremely disappointed and will go elsewhere from now on.

Well what can I say. Food is absolutely gorgeous. Service is top notch and the staff are really nice. I had the Big Boy Double burger and it was one of the best I've ever eaten. It's a little bit pricey but worth paying for the quality which I have to say beats all the other local takeaways hands down. Also, we live in North Cave and the delivery service has so far been excellent. So if you want great quality food you can't go wrong with Medici. Thanks guys.

Ordered BBQ Chicken, this was very poor value for the money. When I had it before the Chicken had been on a skewer. This time it was a sliced Chicken breast with no flavour at all; has this changed hands or got a new chef? Looked like onions with it but I think there was the odd bit of pepper and some mushrooms; frazzled up. I won't be ordering from there for a while; hoping it improves.

I am not happy. Twice now I, a dairy intolerant teenager, have ordered a plain burger and made sure it was plain yet I have always been given a cheeseburger meaning I cannot eat. We never think to check in the store as we expected to get what was asked for.

Ordered a pollo Alpepe there was hardly any chicken and the chicken that was in it was very poor quality! Medici has definitely gone downhill! Very disappointed

My favorite take away , chef struggled to get it stood and watched my frozen rib be befrosted .As a chef , I disappointed a fter pay £13 to put in bin ?
Ordered the beef Mexican. Shocking. That's all the beef I got. Like slices beef from a packet. No flavour to the meal either. £13.

I generally have had no problems in the past so whether there has been a change in the chef? However we ordered Fajitas and a Lasagne, both not ready on arrival, the chicken was not cooked through and slimey, the lasagne cold in the middle. We bypassed our mouths in favour of the green bin . We were refunded but will be avoiding..

Food is always delicious and service normally good but the girl I spoke to on the phone tonight was quite rude and had no communication skills at all. Other than this happy customer!
