Red Hawk

Really nice pub with plenty of parking and a handy app that’s easy to use. Food came out quickly and was spot on—fresh and full of flavour. Good menu as well, with loads of choice!

Villa d’Este

Best restaurant in the area. Authentic Italian food, the taste is impeccable, and the general astmosphere with the stone features / exterior and decor feels as if you were in Italy.

The Catch

My partner and I heard this place was good and we weren't disappointed. This was the best Haddock, chips and scraps we've ever eaten! The gravy was delicious too and all at a very reasonable price. Very friendly staff too. Don't miss this place. Its amazing!

The Bear Inn

A lovely pub with great atmosphere and very dog friendly. The food was gorgeous and the prices very reasonable for the quality and size of portions. We were told there was a new chef who came out and asked how the food was himself. Will definitely be returning ?

53 Degrees North

Really good fish and chips at 53 Degrees North. Always fresh and crispy, and the staff are super friendly. Perfect spot for a chill takeaway. Would Definitely go again.

Station Supper

Beautiful little Chinese next to the train station. Ingredients very fresh and tasteful. A little more pricey than others in vicinity but worth it. Staff lovely great vegetarian options and cash only. Grazie :)

South Cave Chinese Takeaway

Visiting South Cave for the first time for work and was desperate to find a good place to eat with very limited options. I am pleasantly surprised at the quality and portion size of the food! I got the spicy squid, gochujang ribs and chow mein and all were really good. Highly recommend to locals and visitors!

i-Bar

Came to Brough for a meeting, unfortunately that venue’s kitchen was closed for the day due to bereavement. Stumbled across the Ibar; small size and not a large menu, but varied and mid priced. Prompt friendly service, had the fish n chip platter, well presented, a bit heavy on the batter but overall tasty and reasonable value. Can’t understand some of the reviews….the waitress and the chef were spot on professional, and the vibe from what I assume to be regulars was friendly. Not the best I’ve ever been to, but for a small place like Brough the Ibar, in my experience, punches well above its weight, give it a try.

Voujon Indian Restaurant and Takeaway in Brough

Tried the new addition to Menu Chicken 'Aflatoon' (or Lamb) was tasty sweet & spicy medium hot, definately recommended and special rice was good too and purchased hard copy Gift Vouchers. Fab friendly service and lots GF available. ?

Fabihas

A great meal the first time so went back again... equally as good. Going to work our way through the menu now that we have moved to Winterton to try as many of their delicious currys as possible. Very good authentic flavours, huge chunks of well marinated chicken in each dish. Great service and very easy to order and pay online. Always ready perfectly on time. Highly recommend and will be back again very soon to tick more off the menu.

Enjoyed our stay, rooms lovely, clean and comfy. Breakfast was good value for money. Housekeeper- Samantha, was very helpful and friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Will be visiting again.

The Half Moon Elloughton

Popped in last minute for tea, fish and chips and a lasagne. Very tasty, excellent value and great service on a Saturday. Will def be back soon. Well done to new owners

Newport Chinese Takeaway

Decided to try this takeaway the other day and I have to say I am impressed, the chow mien was delicious and had the perfect amount of spice, the chicken in satay sauce was very tasty and not dry at all! I would definitely come again.

The Triton Inn

One of the nicest beer gardens I've ever had the pleasure to sit in. Located in the heart of brantingham which is beautiful, very quiyand tranquil. The Triton IPA is a must!. Dog friendly witha range of dog chews and dog ice-cream.
Never actually eaten here but I have seen others getting waited on and the food looks and smells exceptionally.

Subway Sandwich Bar

Food always fresh and available. With restrictions in place for Covid-19, limited people can wait in line. I had to stand outside of the ship for a while, before being able to go in. It took at least 15 minutes or more to be served, but the weather was fine so it wasn't a problem. On a wet day however, it could be a problem at busy times. I went at lunchtime around 1pm.

Emon Spice Lounge

I don’t normally do reviews but I have been ordering takeaway from here for years. They practically got me through uni, as there were many late nights where I was too exhausted to cook but needed good food to keep me going!

The food is always delicious and I sometimes like to try new things on the menu for a change and have never been disappointed!

The value for the amount of food you get is great and while other takeaways have hiked up prices over the years, I could always rely on Emon to still remain affordable!

And last but not least, the delivery man is always smiling and lovely, even on days you can tell they’re clearly run off their feet with orders! And on the VERY RARE occasion they’re even a tiny bit late delivering an order (due to circumstances outside their control) he will be super apologetic.

Overall a great place and I highly recommend! :)

Decided on a Monday night curry as the restaurant was just along the road from where I was staying.
As it was a Monday it wasn't too busy, which was good as it gives you the opportunity to chat to the staff.
The food was excellent, starter, mains, rice and nann bread.
Reasonable prices, good service and a tasty meal, what more could you ask for.

The Funky Fish

Went in pretty much bang on opening time, I got Korean bbq chicken strips with fries and a small chips with curry sauce, the staff was very friendly and the food was very tasty, would 100% get the chicken strips again

A bit chaotic whilst I was there, one guy seems to do everything. Another guy standing behind food prep counter just glared at me. Never smiled, acknowledged and never spoke.

Gia Hua Chinese Takeaway

Our first Chinese meal since moving to the area a year ago. We ordered prawn curry, chips, special chow mein and bbq spare ribs.

The only Chinese open on a Tuesday and we weren't disappointed.

Great value for money and fresh, hot dishes.

Highly recommend.

Medici Take Away

Good scran. Bit spenny nowadays. They never time the chips and pizza to be ready at the same time. So your chips are made and sat waiting for your pizza to be ready. I’m mental so this annoys me.
