We went for a Sunday roast. I’ve struggled to find places that are up to scratch in terms of getting a good roast. This place was spot on. I had the beef and it was cooked perfectly, a lovely medium rare cut of topside. The chicken and pork was also very good!

Traditional pub with modern decor. Parking is available on the road nearby. Well planned seating and full table service. Sunday lunch choices were good and all food was delicious and hot. Waiting staff were very attentive and friendly. Advisable to book and definitely worth a visit.

Heard BlueBell was under new management, called in for Sunday lunch. Wasn’t disappointed! The place felt really easy going, staff and new management are really nice. Ordered two Sunday lunches and drinks, excellent portions, food was great along with service. Will definitely return!

I called in on a Wednesday night at 7:20 p.m., hoping to get some food. Apparently, that's too late. Won't be going back. Poor effort!

We visited on a Thursday night without a booking but there was just room for two. They had a Steak night offer for two steaks with all the trimmings you would expect, including a bottle of wine, for £35. It was outstanding. We asked for a rare steak and it was cooked to perfection. There was a choice of two wines, the Shiraz was a perfect accompaniment.It wasn't our first visit and it certainly won't be our last.
