My son took me to Swiss Cottage as a treat for my birthday. The food was awesome, the restaurant was warm and friendly. Jill was a pleasure. This really is a little gem in Hornsea that should be raved about a lot more.

Don't judge a place by its looks. Exterior and interior looks a bit dated. But the meals were spot on. Very enjoyable. 10/10.

went here for a wake. we had an open bar and a buffet. the food was lovely, being a chef myself i was very impressed with the buffet spread - not a bad word to say in regards of the food!the only downfall is i was rather disappointed when i went to the bar to get a drink and was told that by the server ‘i’m done now, i’m just waiting for you all to leave’. no last orders was called. i found this comment rather rude if i’m honest.other than that everything was lovely. just a shame to receive that comment when i went to order a drink.

A little gem of a restaurant in Hornsea. Cosy, welcoming, and always nicely busy while still feeling intimate. Lovely food and drink with a proper traditional British pub feel. Always a joy to pop here.

Over the years the Swiss Cottage has consistently maintained very high quality, home cooked foods. There is a comprehensive menu and you will find excellent, friendly and helpful staff. Fancy a drink before or after your meal, there is also a great bar.

We turned up without a booking for Sunday Lunch, the manager/ owner managed to fit us in, the beef roast dinner and the puddings were excellent. The food arrived very quickly and the girl serving and the owner manager were very efficient. Third time we have been great experience each time.
