Five Bites Hornsea
55 Newbegin, HornseaWorking at a residential home in the area, a service user had ordered from here, the delivery man was lovely and told myself and my colleague he would bring some chicken for us to get us through our night shift. Wow he did not fail! He brought the biggest box of chicken. Delicious chicken may I add. Thankyou very much for an amazing service and being very caring!

12-14 Newbegin, HornseaGot three pizzas, two on the pizza deal with dinner meat and chips and an extra pizza on top tonight and they were the best pizzas we've had in a long time! The chicken Kiev pizza was beautiful full of flavour and tasty, the meat lovers and feast were delicious, really good value for money and for 35 quid well worth the money. I would definitely recommend!

The Barn on Longbeach
Longbeach Leisure Park, South Cliff, HornseaVisiting to go to an antique fair(live in Scarborough) didn't know of any places but saw the sign from the road. Being set on a caravan park we thought it might be shut in winter,but were relieved to see it open with plenty of people going for their Sunday carvery.Lovely customer service,from the welcome at the bar and the servers at the carvery.Meat on offer was Pork/turkey/gammon/chicken pie.Veg was roast/mashed/boiled potatoes.Carrots/peas/cauli cheese/ sprouts/cabbage etc.Yorkshire came with stuffing ball.Every sauce mint/apple etc was available.The meat that they put on our plate(pork) was some of the best we have ever had,Pork loin cut thickly and plenty of it.It was very tender, top class butcher/and chef! The atmosphere was different re the setup.Obviously an entertainment venue, with small stage at one end,plenty of tables,roaring log fire adjoining that room and the beautiful conservatory where we chose to sit.Would not hesitate to go again!Very good service all round!£30 for 2 carvery,Wine and lager! Very good value! recommend!

We needn't have worried the meal that we chose was fabulous- hot and massive portions and with free prawn crackers. Will definitely use again and promote it to all our friends.We'll done Golden Wok

34-38 New Rd, HornseaHad takeaway as dogs aren't allowed in the main restaurant. Great food and reasonably priced. One of the other chippies we went to didn't have anything veggie not even the chips so it was good that the whole group could eat here. Staff were friendly and helpful. Bit busy on the weekends but that you'd expect for how good the food is, even still we didn't wait more than 10 mins. It closes fairly early so get in soon!

Market Pl, HornseaThe new Inn Hornsea. What can I say this was my first visit? Some pubs have that undefinable vibe about them. This is one of them. A good choice of beers, lagers, and cider. Including 3 hand-pulled cask, conditioned real ales, and in excellent condition when I visited. A nice big but cosy community pub. Pool table, good music, but not too loud. Very dog friendly with some very friendly dogs. Outside seating and large car park. A great pub highly recommended.Dietary restrictions: The pub doesn't serve food.Parking: Large free customer car park behind the pub.

Mr Moo's Ice Cream Parlour
Hornsea Rd, Skipsea, DriffieldFabulous ice cream, the real deal. Some of the staff I've encountered over the years needed a personality transplant lol. But recently a lady behind the till ran out to give us something we left behind, so it depends on who you get on the day. Don't hesitate, go there, get moo'ed!

126 Newbegin, HornseaWe have lived locally for five years or so, and today made our first visit. We grabbed some lunch and for two baguettes, crisps, drinks & cakes it came to £14.80. The food was delicious and fresh, the staff were warm and welcoming. The lemon cake was absolutley delicious. Five stars+!
