1 Cliff Rd, HornseaEdit : perhaps last time was a misunderstanding on my behalf and communication issue with ordering system, I tried again and the staff was lovely and informative. I guess my frustration was mixed with hunger and tiredness. For this reason I’ve change my review. original post: I have been happy in the past as this is the only takeaway with an online service in this area. However recent experience has let me down, order not processed for 60 mins. When calling to be told the system wasn’t working but miraculously did when I called indicates a reason for debate. Then to be told another 30mins, for delivery wasn’t a good experience at all. Whilst I appreciate weekends are busy this is not the type of service I’m normally given with previous online orders. When the food does arrive I’m discovering a piece of paper in my food. I will not be ordering from here again.

Five Bites Hornsea
55 Newbegin, HornseaOrdered twice from here whilst staying in a beautiful cottage in Mappleton. Ordered online,no issues,delivery guy rang both times on arrival.
Food arrived hot and well packaged. Very tasty food - loved the Greek pizza.
Would definitely order from again.

Marine Dr, HornseaLovely friendly pub and very dog friendly, even better this visit as could sit anywhere without carpet with our dog.The bargin of the week was burger and pint of peroni for £10. We had breakfast a couple of days too which was good. Nothing negative to say and we will see you next year!

17 Market Pl, HornseaFirst time , ordered 2 mixed kebabs and a small chips, wow what a treat, kebabs absolutely delicious, good portions, hot and fresh served on a soft bread yummy , highly recommended, thank you very much ? will be back again on our 3 night break.

Hornsea Rd, Skipsea, DriffieldNice selection of ice cream and sundae choices and for those of us not that keen on ice cream there are also a nice selection of cakes, hot and cold drinks.
Plenty of seating with a mix of indoor and outdoor seating. Plenty of parking space and dogs are welcome.

44 Cliff Rd, HornseaI was undecided which burger to choose as I usually go for the Gourmet Burger but fancied a change. The lady was very helpful and told me of the different types and I chose the bacon and maple syrup burger. OMG !!! Delicious is an understatement.I will definitely be having this one again. Thank you. Excellent!!!

33 Market Pl, HornseaA lovely little gem of a pub. We popped in after looking for somewhere to have sunday lunch....what a treat it was...delicious food and a huge plate full, excellent value. Very friendly staff...would recommend for anyone visiting Hornsea, and if the weather is kind there is a lovely outside area too

Golden Wok
34 Cliff Rd, HornseaWe were staying near my parents house so we decided to get a takeaway from The Golden Wok. Wow the Sweet & Sour Chicken Hong Kong Style and Egg Fried Rice were absolutely delicious! My family loved it and we’ll definitely order again next time we visit. Highly recommended!

Popped in for breakfast/lunch. Had two full English, a scrambled egg on toast, two coffees and a soft drink.
First of all, brilliant service. The server pointed out the specials board and he even read it out line-by-line to an old lady who was struggling to read it - now that is going the extra mile.
Food was great - well cooked full of flavour - and, to me, inexpensive with the whole meal and drinks coming to around £30.
Highly recommend.

Swiss Cottage Restaurant & Lounge Bar
49a New Rd, HornseaThis place is easy to overlook with so many lovely eateries in Hornsea, I cannot extol it enough, the quality of the food and service is 5star, staff are so kind and friendly, Tara especially made both meals over the weekend memorable, the family who run it cannot do anymore to please...one last thing the rack of lamb is absolutely delicious

Longbeach Leisure Park, South Cliff, HornseaCan't beat this place the food is really tasty plenty too. You can get small just enough if not a big eater, regular more than enough and children's portions.

Sands Ln, South Promenade, HornseaUnexpectedly came across this fish and chip shop not having used it before. The three of us had the small portion of f/chips which were cooked to order. They were really excellent both to taste and price. We also had a very good cup of tea. Staff were quick and capable and the whole experience was extremely enjoyable.

19 Marine Dr, HornseaHad a cracking full English breakfast this morning. Worth every penny. Had a full English earlier this week at the Floral Hall, this one was much much better. Dog friendly. New go to place for a breakfast in Hornsea. Staff are great as well.

59-61 Newbegin, Hornsea? The Green Owl is a hoot for a proper breakfast!
Classic grub, cracking prices, and the service is super speedy, all delivered with a genuine smile. We’ve swooped in twice this summer and left happily stuffed both times.
Free parking on Cinema Street, no need to wrestle with ticket machines before your bacon butty.

The Food Shop
126 Newbegin, HornseaWe have lived locally for five years or so, and today made our first visit. We grabbed some lunch and for two baguettes, crisps, drinks & cakes it came to £14.80. The food was delicious and fresh, the staff were warm and welcoming. The lemon cake was absolutley delicious. Five stars+!
