1 Cliff Rd, HornseaEdit : perhaps last time was a misunderstanding on my behalf and communication issue with ordering system, I tried again and the staff was lovely and informative. I guess my frustration was mixed with hunger and tiredness. For this reason I’ve change my review. original post: I have been happy in the past as this is the only takeaway with an online service in this area. However recent experience has let me down, order not processed for 60 mins. When calling to be told the system wasn’t working but miraculously did when I called indicates a reason for debate. Then to be told another 30mins, for delivery wasn’t a good experience at all. Whilst I appreciate weekends are busy this is not the type of service I’m normally given with previous online orders. When the food does arrive I’m discovering a piece of paper in my food. I will not be ordering from here again.

8 New Rd, HornseaGot a takeaway from here when staying at a local holiday let. Absolutely fantastic food, loved it. Really friendly guy served us too, happy to recommend this place. Top tip - gave us a discount for paying cash, was worth walking down the road to the cash point ?

Marine Dr, HornseaLovely friendly pub and very dog friendly, even better this visit as could sit anywhere without carpet with our dog.The bargin of the week was burger and pint of peroni for £10. We had breakfast a couple of days too which was good. Nothing negative to say and we will see you next year!

Five Bites Hornsea
55 Newbegin, HornseaOrdered twice from here whilst staying in a beautiful cottage in Mappleton. Ordered online,no issues,delivery guy rang both times on arrival.
Food arrived hot and well packaged. Very tasty food - loved the Greek pizza.
Would definitely order from again.

17 Market Pl, HornseaFirst time , ordered 2 mixed kebabs and a small chips, wow what a treat, kebabs absolutely delicious, good portions, hot and fresh served on a soft bread yummy , highly recommended, thank you very much ? will be back again on our 3 night break.

44 Cliff Rd, HornseaFood was freshly made, quick to arrive and we'll presented. Nice quality ingredients, especially the meat. The owners were really friendly and chatty and service was excellent. Generous portions and a huge menu with lots of choices. Really enjoyed the radio music too!

63 Newbegin, HornseaMy friend and I had their mini fish and chips, absolutely top drawer, fish was perfect, chips great, mushy peas great, and excellent value. The eat in area looked spotlessly clean, staff very nice too. 10/10 all round.

Mr Moo's Ice Cream Parlour
Hornsea Rd, Skipsea, DriffieldNice selection of ice cream and sundae choices and for those of us not that keen on ice cream there are also a nice selection of cakes, hot and cold drinks.
Plenty of seating with a mix of indoor and outdoor seating. Plenty of parking space and dogs are welcome.

33 Market Pl, HornseaA lovely little gem of a pub. We popped in after looking for somewhere to have sunday lunch....what a treat it was...delicious food and a huge plate full, excellent value. Very friendly staff...would recommend for anyone visiting Hornsea, and if the weather is kind there is a lovely outside area too

Longbeach Leisure Park, South Cliff, HornseaWe had the sunday carvery. Super friendly staff and a roaring fire. Meat portions were very generous and my gluten free wife had yorkshire puddings and stuffing. A most enjoyable sunday lunch. Thank you.

5, 7 Newbegin, HornseaI had my daughters sweet 16 in the garden room last night. The food was amazing the staff could not do enough. The garden room and garden area was beautiful. Everyone had a great time. Kids from 7 to 17 and adults and everyone was happy. No complaints just can’t praise enough. Definitely use again for future parties.

49a New Rd, HornseaThis place is easy to overlook with so many lovely eateries in Hornsea, I cannot extol it enough, the quality of the food and service is 5star, staff are so kind and friendly, Tara especially made both meals over the weekend memorable, the family who run it cannot do anymore to please...one last thing the rack of lamb is absolutely delicious

Great coffee (flat white and mocha) slightly darker roast than I would usually go for, but very tasty.
We chose food from the range of light bites, such and sandwiches, along with sides like chips. The food was fresh and balanced beautifully. The side salads were crisp and dressed with a mild and tasteful mustard dressing, or I saw some mustard seeds anyway - like I said, it was mild. Very tasty food!
The atmosphere was relaxed, yet slightly cramped as we were sat by the door. There was a dresser opposite that was empty and I felt the room could have been used better. Regardless of that, the ambient jazz and the buzz of chatter from the other tables gave nothing but chilled and inviting vibes.
My only gripe was the crackle painted table tops, but that's definitely a personal hatred.
We will be enthusiastically returning to try some of the other foods and drinks - highly recommended.

Or going and getting an ice cream or freshly made donuts, and to finish off the visit for me is a cup of coffee.
The prices here are so reasonable, and thw customer service is fantastic.
I feel so lucky to have this little gem of a place, right on my door step.

81 Newbegin, HornseaI ordered from here as our usual chinese takeaway was closed. Wow we've been missing out! We had curry which was amazing,not the usual 'fragrant' type. Full of flavour,plenty of lean meat and prawns. All our food was beautiful from Newbegin Chinese and we'll definetly be ordering again on our next visit to Hornsea as we go camping nearby. I think the owner was the main cook as when I enquired if their curry was fragrant or not and whether it was orangey colour or brown(we prefer the orangey colour curry lol) he went back onto the kitchen and brought me a pot of curry sauce and afew chips to dunk to try it. The English girl behind the counter who served and answered the phone never spoke or acknowledged me though which I thought abit rude but the chinese staff were brilliant

59-61 Newbegin, Hornsea? The Green Owl is a hoot for a proper breakfast!
Classic grub, cracking prices, and the service is super speedy, all delivered with a genuine smile. We’ve swooped in twice this summer and left happily stuffed both times.
Free parking on Cinema Street, no need to wrestle with ticket machines before your bacon butty.
