Waited almost 30 minutes for 2 drinks because they had lost our receipt, failed to read the order and gave me cream when I asked for none. The waiter asked if something was wrong while I was waiting, when I explained, he said I 'should have told him' but I shouldn't have to. Did give us extra chocolate though.

One of my favourite Costas! Staff are always very friendly, and the cafe always has a very welcoming atmosphere.Vegetarian options: Plenty of unique options that taste really good!

We usually frequent this outlet during teatime.I have always observed one of the staff members, Dan. He will always have an unpleasant face whenever there are customers. He is very reluctant and impatient. Lately I realised that this personality of his is only displayed to non-English people. He would be extremely chatty and pleasant with an English customer and becomes sulky when it is a non- English person (Asian, Black etc) In fact personally I would be afraid to enquire further because he looks like he is about to give you a scolding. A big coffee outlet chain like Costa Coffee needs to be more attentive about this and provide staff with training.Most of the staff at this outlet aren’t happy to see customers anyway except one or two smiley faces which are on rather rare occasions.

It took 25 minutes from joining the queue to being sat down with our order.10 of those minutes were taken up waiting for just eat orders to be done which were ordered after ours.The girl brought the orders to the only barrista on duty when he was just about to do our order. Apparently just eat orders take priority over the orders of those in the shop he told the girl who brought the just eat orders to him. This is ridiculous just eat should take their turn in the queue like everyone else. Poor organisation to say the least

Absolutely disgusting! Husband visited the clough road drive thru for 2 strawberries and cream frappes. This was not made with cream but some absolutely rancid alternative meaning it all got poured down the sink! Obviously some kind of vegan sh** and tasted putrid! Costa staff need to stop forcing their views on people wading us over £9 in the process. Will never visit a Costa ever again!

I recently stayed in this costa twice over the last few weeks, staying for a couple of hours at a time, remote working. There seems to be a common theme of how they operate.One person serves all the drinks and another will be doing everything else. That's fine, if it's not busy, but it is, and there's queues all the time, when they doesn't need to be. No joke, you're waiting at least 20mins, just to get served, then there's a wait to get your drinks.The priority should always be to reduce the line size, even if it's all hands on deck, but it isn't. No doubt it's because they are understaffed, but on one occasion there were two people, mulling around, when one girl was overstretched.The reason for the one star was because of a more serious observation I made. A staff member, went from washing the dishes (or loading something) in the back, to emptying the bins and seeming taking the rubbish outback, to going straight into the front area and touching multiple surfaces. Never once washer her hands.It's not on, at all. Especially with what we've all gone though in the last few years. Cleanliness in these environments is everything.

Early for an appointment so popped in for a coffee and was tempted to try a toasted tea cake. Very nice but two pats of butter were hardly enough.

Ordered caramel iced coffe and americano, couldn't taste the caramel, and the barista wiped excess coffee grounds from the scoop with her hand. Lack of health and safety.
