Emma & Kerry are exceptional hosts, constantly checked in with us and made our meal very nice.

The boys in the kitchen deserve a gold medal as well. Also incredible at what they do

Food was immaculate, my girlfriend has talked about the honey pork for weeks from our previous visit.

We would and will definitely come again.

Quality food and nice people. I have come to this pub every year during the migration festival and it never disappoints. The steak is really juicy and tender and the chips are proper home cooked chunky chips. Also a great pub otherwise. Owner is a nice person as well, and so are the staff.

Parking: There is a car park at the back with enough spaces but sometimes there isn’t much space during events like the mig fest

Decent friendly pub , we visited on a buyagift voucher and we had a 2 course meal for two with drinks. We were really impressed by the friendless of the staff and the locals.
The pub was quite but not overly busy whilst we were there between 5-7 pm.
The food was decent and we very much enjoyed our visit. We will definitely be returning, thank you ?

Insanely delicious! There is a true homemade taste to everything and it's all bursting with great flavour. The meat is super tender and the delicious meals don't stop at the main dishes, even the desserts are truly unique and heavenly. Couldn't ask for more and the service was impeccable. Recently changed hands from the Brickmakers Arms to Asi Barbecue Restaurant.
At a 30th anniversary meal for friends .Food was very good and quick service considering there were over thirty of us and extra diners in other areas of the restaurant .Would recommend a visit and sample the good food .

Ended up coming back for a second day in the row. Having seen the masala dosa on a Facebook post whilst working in the area my husband treated me to a weekend away. After a five hour journey we couldn’t have been made to feel more welcome. The food was amazing, although fully booked the service was great, nothing was too much trouble.
Decided to go back tonight to try more things on the menu, very authentic Indian food, at such reasonable prices. Definitely worth the journey.

Saturday evening, told there was to be live music. Bit nervous so booked early. We were a group of friends from across the country visiting a local friend.
Wonderful food lovely friendly staff. And the music was brilliant. Thank you 'Team Stag' we will return when we are over here again.

Dunedin was one of many wedding venues we visited and from the first visit we know it was the one for us. From the staff, to the grounds, the food and details inside the venue we knew we had to get married there.

The staff were always a delight and really helped me pull everything together. They were so organised and have such a calming/friendly nature, they made us feel so at ease. They really do care about everyone who walks through that front door and want everyone involved to have the best day possible.

Dunedin is a stunning venue that allows for all of your favourite people to be in one place without it seeming too big or too small. We made great use of the grounds during the day and evening with the beautiful weather we had and the photos captured that day were gorgeous with all of the greenery. A big part of our wedding day was ensuring our dog could play her part in it. Dunedin were so welcoming with her and I think she had the best day out of everyone making use of the large garden and her balls.

We cannot recommend Dunedin enough if you want an intimate and well cared for wedding. They really do go above and beyond to make your day the most special one for you yet!

Thank you all so much for all of your hard work and efforts in giving us the best day of our lives.

Me and my wife were lucky enough to stumble across The Brain Jar last year. We were so blown away by the cocktails we decided to stay in Hull an extra night just so we could enjoy more of their drinks and play their Sunday quiz.

We’ve both been to a lot of cocktail bars around the world and this place surpasses all of them by FAR. Every single cocktail was superb but the Key Lime Pie had us in a chokehold…unreal!

Took my mam in today for an early lunch. Ordered the Philly Cheesesteak. Mam got the burger. Impressed with the cheese steak very filling with lots of steak in there given the size of the ciabatta. It's a UK twist on an American version which has chunkier steak than a US one and also doesn't have peppers but very good. Mams double cheeseburger was huge, I didn't expect to sample it but she could only eat half soninhad to oblige again very good given the price.

Staff are excellent, very attentive and patient, always given a warm friendly welcome.

A little quiet when we went in early Friday afternoon. But one of the many great pubs around Hull's old town, which is a must. If you stay at the Premier Inn, in Hull, it's just a short walk over the river and it begins. I am glad they have managed to keep its name, history is history, we cannot erase it. Enjoy, you won't be disappointed, and many fine ales.

Went this afternoon for a quick meal with a friend before having to be somewhere.

Food was lovely served and made within half an hour, it was quiet but it was a quiet night in town overall, it’s clean and decorated well, the staff were kind and gave enough time for us to chose from menu, I had come in before my friend as was waiting outside in cold and her bus wasn’t too far away, I waited for her inside at a table, they had no problems with that.

Was a pleasant experience and lots of choices on menu, I am hoping to come back soon and even for a birthday start of next year.

Nothing bad on this visit,

Came to dope burger with my mate and got two burgers, 2 portions of chips, 2 drinks and a dip all for £25. Which was very good value, as we were both full after it. I got the scotch bonnet burger as I like spicy food and it was fantastic. Good quality meat, salad and bun.
The staff were also very accommodating and had some decent tunes on which made me experience even better.
Overall thoroughly enjoyed and would definitely come back.
