I attended my nieces wedding on 16 March. I am a cake maker and have been part of lots of wedding celebrations in the past.I have never come across such a helpful, friendly set of people, you should be very proud of yourselves ‘team Dunedin’.They went above and beyond to help with the decorations and dessert table. Which looked amazing, they dismantled everything and stored it until be collected the next day.We were totally expecting to do this ourselves, the staff took on these extra responsibilities and this allowed us to spend more time with our family and guests.Food was amazing, as a vegetarian my expectations are not high, totally understandable when chef is catering for one. I was so surprised at being presented with a veggie pasty parcel, it was delicious. All the food including breakfast was plentiful, hot and utterly yummy.Accommodation comfortable and clean.I live in Patrington and I’ll definitely be back for Sunday lunch. Also attending another wedding in August.Well done all, you have done yourselves proud and given our family and friends a day they’ll never forget.

Party of 11, who I can only describe as people who order stuff in a chaotic manner. Staff response was fabulous, and they did not find this an issue. From start to finish, the service was excellent, the food was also excellent. I have had a few curries over many years, and I feel that it has been the best yet. Our party all ordered from the alarm carte menu, and the food came out in a timely fashion. There was plenty of it, and the drinks came quickly each time we ordered. Lastly, the price was just the best. I personally found this restaurant to be high quality,but with low prices.

My wife booked us in for a party of 22 for my 50th. Thank you so much to all of the staff at The Hearth for making it a really relaxed, enjoyable lunch. Lovely friendly staff, great relaxed atmosphere and the excellent food was enjoyed by all (even my fussy parents).

Beautiful first visit to Marcia - it definitely won't be the last! The food was absolutely divine. Well worth a 45 min drive over the bridge for. The owner was so lovely too. So so so highly recommended, we'll be back! Can't wait to try the pizzeria too.

The Roos Arms is a traditional village pub. There is a good range of beers, lager and cider, including 2 hand-pulled cask conditioned real ales. The cask ale was excellent when I called in. There is a nice bar and room next to it with a pool table. Up some steps at the front, there is another room mainly for meals, which are served Thursday to Sunday. There is covered outside seating and a beer garden. A nice welcoming pub, also dog friendly.Vegetarian options: There are vegetarian options on the menu.Parking: The pub has its own large car park And there is free on street parking as well.Wheelchair accessibility: There is a flat entrance from the car park.

Popped in for lunch today and was surprised to sre how big, clean and well l laid out the pub was. Food selection was really good and the staff were very helpful and friendly.Prices were really good too.Definitely coming back. Often!! ?10th March, 24Another great experience. I ordered the 10oz rump steak with pepper sauce, med rare. And the chef delivered it exactly as it should be. A beautifully cooked steak. Nicely char-grilled to perfection. My wife ordered the bbq chicken, bacon and cheese sauce and was well pleased with the tenderness of the chicken. That only slight disappointment was there were no real ales for some reason. But the great meal made up for it ???

A range of different patties which been a hull person will find a change to the norm. Very friendly staff. Great size portions.And a thing I did notice which goes a long way in my eyes was a elderly lady forgot to order a fishcake after paying a waiting for her order. She then remembered on collection of her order,the gent behind doing the frying got one out wrapped it up an just gave her it for free saying your a regular Love..Good food A+++

After a quick call to David the landlord, spent 3 nights in my motorhome at the Crown and Anchor. What a fantastic find this was. Home cooked food outstanding !! Staff and service both brilliant. Not a plastic chain pub, but a real place with warmth and welcoming people who genuinely have a passion for what they do. I would have no hesitation in recommending a visit. Thank you to all involved in making my brief visit so relaxing, and welcoming.

Not surprised they got Restaurant of the Year! Being a Greek from down south and staying up in Hull for the weekend. Wanted to see what Greek food was on offer. Wow, The Greek didn't disappoint. We had the sharing platter, halloumi fries and the Calamari. All the meats were cooked and seasoned to perfection.The staff where lovely and the restaurant well well-presented.If you're in Hull and you love good food check it out!

I booked 'The Conservatory' for my mums Wake. When we arrived we were made welcome and shown to the area we had booked. The space was well lit and had plenty of seats and tables, enough to fit about 30 - 40 people. This particular pub doesn't cater for parties with food, however, they do have a grazing/sharing menu with plenty of choice. I ordered a mix of dishes and asked for them to be served at 3.15pm, they werespoton time. Everything was well cooked and tasty, everyone seemed to enjoy the food.We would like to thank you for giving my mum's friend's and family the perfect end to our sad, but, celebratory day. 'The Conservatory' would be a great space for any small gathering, with it's easy access to the bar and the rest of the facilities on offer.Thanks again.

Love this place. Great atmosphere and always a friendly welcome. Cosy when it’s cold as they light the big real fire. Great food and a really reasonable children’s option at £7 for 3 courses!Can’t beat their beef steak stroganoff with rice and chips. Their red Merlot wine is lush too.

Me and my family visited today for out tea. Me & my partner had the large carvery, my daughter a small and my 6yr son had chicken nuggets to which he said get a 15 out of 10 been the best nuggets he's had. We had a lovely lady called Annie Buffey in our section, she was always coming to our table asking if everything was ok and if we needed anymore drinks. Wonderful service from her and the food was excellent and hot
