I attended my nieces wedding on 16 March. I am a cake maker and have been part of lots of wedding celebrations in the past.I have never come across such a helpful, friendly set of people, you should be very proud of yourselves ‘team Dunedin’.They went above and beyond to help with the decorations and dessert table. Which looked amazing, they dismantled everything and stored it until be collected the next day.We were totally expecting to do this ourselves, the staff took on these extra responsibilities and this allowed us to spend more time with our family and guests.Food was amazing, as a vegetarian my expectations are not high, totally understandable when chef is catering for one. I was so surprised at being presented with a veggie pasty parcel, it was delicious. All the food including breakfast was plentiful, hot and utterly yummy.Accommodation comfortable and clean.I live in Patrington and I’ll definitely be back for Sunday lunch. Also attending another wedding in August.Well done all, you have done yourselves proud and given our family and friends a day they’ll never forget.

From the amazing getting ready houses for the night before (HOT TUB!), to the most amazing house and surroundings have you seen the lights?! Which is perfectly ran by the the loveliest staff who guide you through your day effortlessly with nothing being too much and make you feel incredibly special.I wish we could do it all over again.Thank you so much Dunedin, we love you!Ellie and JoeRooms: The rooms that you and your guest stay in are gorgeous with roll top baths and comfiest beds.Food & drinks: The food is simply magnificent with guests commenting 'best wedding food I have ever had', and bar full of all you needed- we was even able to request personalised cocktails to be made!

Our wedding was very last minute and Helen made sure we had a perfect date and nothing was too much of a big ask. Sheila is just a real life fairy god mother a true gem and I would have been lost without Beth’s organisation skills (being the most unorganised person on earth.)It was just gorgeous the building and the lodges are to die for and if I could do it all again I wouldn’t change I thing!I could snog the chef’s the food was just stunning, if you have ever been to Dunedin you will know what I mean!Thankyou so much ?

Seldom do you get that level of people in these venues , ive travelled allot and lived abroad most of my life and the staff here were world class , thanks Dunedin team x

We booked your venue for a baby shower that we were organising for a close friend. The 'mum to be' got married at your venue so it was very special to return again for another monumental event. The service was outstanding, food was delicious and all dietary requirements were catered for. My husband and I had originally booked our wedding here for 29th May 2021, unfortunately we had to post pone due to Covid, staff were very accommodating and understanding of the situation and luckily we were able to re-arrange for the 4th June 2022. We got married at Patrington Church first and made our way over to Dunedin, the staff were amazing, they made us feel so special on our day! They made sure we got our welcome drink and everyone commented on the service and how good it was! They allowed us to check the breakfast room prior to everyone entering to make sure that it was the way we wanted and it was perfect. The wedding breakfast was beautifully scrumptious and everyone enjoyed the food, it was served quickly and efficiently and at a top standard, drinks were always refreshed and available. During our speeches we did have a slight issue with the microphones interfering but we quickly sorted this. Sheila has always made us feel welcome at Dunedin, from our first meetings to any events or Sunday lunches we have attended, she knows who we are straight away and always has a good chat with us! Before our first dance, I had a malfunction with my dress and Sheila and another lady were in one of the bedrooms helping me sort it out, they were always there to help if needed. Everyone had a great time and at the end of the night Simon helped myself and my husband up to our room with a bottle of champagne for us to enjoy as a happily married couple! We have been back a couple of times since, for meals with family and as a married couple and every time we are welcomed and made to feel like part of the Dunedin family!! Couldn't have asked for anything better!! Thank you everyone at Dunedin! xx
