Lovely place to have breakfast. Reasonable prices. Good quality local produce. Good to support local businesses & not the big chains. We enjoyed a full breakfast. Only issue 3 out of 4 of us agreed on . Was that the breakfast was slightly cold . (Remenisant of a wetherspoons coldish breakfast) It was not busy at the time we were there . So this was quite disappointing . Would we go again? .... 1 out of 4 said , definitely not. But the others said yes . I have only given 3 stars due to the fact this review is based on the 4 of us .

Often walked past so decided to give it a try after looking on website. Seemed decent prices for brekkies. Busy place. Prices were a few more pounds than on site. Hubbie enjoyed his breakfast I had pancakes were lovely and fluffy but maybe a little jug of maple syrup so you can control it. It was already drizzled on and I only could manage 3 of the 5 pancakes so maple was wasted.

I booked afternoon tea for 14 people for my mums 80th birthday. I cannot praise the staff at Gingers enough for their hospitality on the day. Nothing was too much trouble. The food was of the usual Gingers high standard, with plenty for everyone and some to take home too. Filled croissants, finger sandwiches, quiche, sausage rolls, cakes to die for and scones with jam & cream in abundance. The ladies all had an amazing time and Gingers definitely gained some more fans! I really couldn’t recommend the food, the surroundings and the wonderful staff highly enough.

My wife and i pop out on a Sunday morning for breakfast and this was by far the most impressive. Set in comfortable surroundings and lovely attentive staff . The traditional full breakfast was superb and would highly recommend. Will definitely be returning. 10/10

Nice breakfast but very disappointed to not receive a little replacement for the 2 items off the breakfast that I asked not to receive on the plate. This is the first time ever in a cafe when I’ve not had a little extra of another item to make up the difference. Such a shame.
