Larkins bar is a great place for a drink or something to eat. There is an excellent range of beers, lagers, cider, and craft beers and also excellent cask conditioned hand-pulled real ales. The style is modern bare brick with wooden floors. The bar is very popular for food. The pizzas look fabulous. It's quite a large bar, plenty of seating, but it has a nice cosy feel to it. There is also a large outdoor beer garden with plenty of covered seating with cosy cabins.Vegetarian options: There are vegetarian options on the menu.Dietary restrictions: The staff ask if you have any allergies. There are vegan options on the menu.Parking: There is some free street parking nearby. But it is often not easy finding a space, especially in the evening.Wheelchair accessibility: The entrance is flat. It's all on one level, easy access for wheelchairs.

Larkin's Bar is a delightful spot that holds a special place in the hearts of Estrella enthusiasts. With its inviting ambiance and friendly staff, it's the perfect destination for those seeking a laid-back atmosphere to enjoy their favorite brew. The comfortable seating arrangements ensure a relaxing experience, whether you're catching up with friends or enjoying some quiet time alone. During my visit, I noticed some exciting activity in the back, hinting at the creation of something new and exciting. Additionally, I appreciated the option to host events at Larkin's Bar, adding another layer of versatility to this charming establishment. All in all, Larkin's Bar provides a welcoming environment, great drinks, and the promise of something fresh on the horizon, making it a place worth returning to time and time again.

I was truly surprised by the whole experience. It's a lively bar restaurant with extremely reasonable prices for the most mouth-watering food we've had for a long time. I suggest that if there's more than two or three in your group that you book a table as we did. It's so good you'll have trouble getting a seat if you don't.Kid-friendliness: We had two in our party aged 10 and 12. We also saw several others come in with their children arouthat age. There are baby changing facilities in the disabled toilet, however as it's a lively place I wouldn't suggest taking small children as it probably going to be too much for them to cope.Wheelchair accessibility: There's a sloped entrance and the disabled toilet is easy to get in with your wheelchair.

Been in today and we're totally disappointed.. We haven't been in for a while so we were looking forward to eating here. We had steak and chips and stroganoff.... First we wanted meat pie but they didn't have any left. Then they told us they didn't have rice after the meal had been paid for!! The portions were very small to what they used to be. The steak which was grisly, had a few chips, one mushroom 1 tomato and no salad. Definitely not worth nearly £18. Will not be going back.

Went here as a backup as we were badly let down by another venue and were impressed by the friendliness and atmosphere of the place and staff. We arrived not long before food orders stopped but they were honest about that. The food was great and plentiful and a 4* for that is a good 4* ( it has to be absolutely exceptional for a 5* so this is not a mark down). We couldn't order desserts because time wouldnt allow it but newland avenue has so many alternatives we just went to a cake shop and picked some up for takeaway..Guys and gals , you saved our afternoon out after a bad letdown by another venue. Thanks.Parking: Street parking is available but you may have to hunt for it.
