Where to start! This amazing little gem is not only a gastronomic delight but an amazing little community hub. The menu changes daily and everything is cooked from scratch and more importantly from the heart. Vegetarian options are simply amazing. It is the perfect place for a romantic meal for two, family celebration or girls get together. Whatever the occasion the food and service always delivers, just like your delightful greek tavernas on holiday you will greeted and treated like a friend. We love coming here not only for the amazing warm friendly service but that element of surprise of what Mata will have on the menu. Mata's food is just purely delightful and the flavours will blow you away. Nostalgia is a very special place, I continually recommend it and will continue to do so! Yiannis you are an amazing ambassador for your restaurant and your passion shines through!

Great local restaurant that does specials most of the days, especially on a Friday and Saturday as they stay open in the evening. We have been there for lunch , dinner and breakfast too... Only negative they do not open more evenings ... We booked for the Christmas week as it is small and fills up quickly...

We enjoyed a stonking evening at this delightful restaurant celebrating a special birthday with friends. An horrendous evening weather wise was cheered up so much from the moment we arrived and until we departed. Fantastic selection of food, including a great specials board, drinks, cocktails etc. Special shout out for the beetroot salad (to die for), grilled sausages, and filo cheese parcels but, that said, everything we selected was delicious, wholesome and great value. Many thanks to Giannis and your team for making our special night special. See you again very soon (hopefully one of the Saturday nights with live music

Visited this restaurant on Saturday lunchtime with our daughter and grandson. Our first visit despite it being less than half a mile from our house. It was excellent. We shared a meze and a smoked mackerel salad all of which was excellent. All this including drinks and carrot cake was less than £40. The waitress was extremely helpful and friendly and the owner found some games to entertain our 3 year old. We will be back.
