Vegetarian options: Loved that there was a whole vegan menu, lots to choose from. The coconut and cauliflower curry was delicious

We ordered and requested that the table be cleaned. We were looked at and told when I can. The coffee arrived, and then the young girl arrived and started spaying the table. We asked her not to spray. Got a rather annoying look, continued, and went.

Nice food, reasonably priced, which arrived quickly and hot. It wasn't the best food I've had in one of the many city centre venues, but it was good for the price range and there's a good range of choices; and great for my friend to see such a huge range of GF options - as well as a decent range of drinks, both soft and alcoholic. The place itself is also lovely to sit in - it has a great relaxed atmosphere, and excellent location for before and after activities. Additionally, the staff are very chilled and the "right amount" of attentive - although we did have a weird moment at the start where there's a giant sign saying "wait here to be seated" - which we did for a good 5 minutes while the staff chatted at the bar, before one of them came over looking confused and told us to "just sit whatever" - so not sure what the point of the sign was...Would go again, would definitely recommend it, but it maybe wouldn't be my first choice unless I was going out for food worth someone who needed GF choices.Dietary restrictions: Full menu of GF options, all seemed to be GF versions of the regular menu, so great if dining with e.g. children, where you don't want them to feel different

Decent enough place.

Delicious breakfast butties and good coffee. Glad that somewhere in Hull serve good food. So disappointed at the overpriced slop served by rude staff at the Humber Fish Co. Definitely one to avoid!

Really, really good food, albeit very small portions on some things. Bar service moves at a snails pace and doesn’t seem to have much communication. Waited behind some dude with a long cocktails order. Bar person disappeared after making them with no indication they or anyone else would return. A bit annoying. Decore is cool

Visited on the 23rd of March, coffee and hot chocolate were great.my gf decided she wanted a bowl of fries and opted for the garlic and parmesan fries. They came in a small finger bowl with probably 15 fries in there, which for over £4 is pretty appalling. To top it off, there was no hint of garlic or parmesan.Meaning she has essentially bought 15 plain fries for over £4.Not the best.

Kid-friendliness: This a family favourite. Toys for the kids to play with, colouring sheets and crayons provided, kids menu, water dispenser.

First time here. Was looking for something different from our usual Hull eateries and wasn't disappointed. Up there with Cosy Club and The Botonist - both of York.

Ponto came highly recommended from friends so today I visited for a gluten free lunch.I have to say that I was very impressed! It’s in a great location in the centre of Hull and has a very welcoming atmosphere. It was quite busy for a cold Thursday but we quickly found a table. The gluten free menu was enormous! I had a really hard time choosing as there were so many delicious options. There was also a Vegan menu and a comprehensive choice of hot and cold drinks and desserts. The interior is quite quirky with lots of paintings and framed prints on the walls and some wonderful 1950/1960 glassbowl lampshades over the bar area. The seating ranged from comfortable settees to traditional tables and chairs and the higher tables. The staff were efficient and friendly with good attention to detail.Customers included family groups with babies, couples and solo diners across the age ranges.NB I don’t know if there are any accessible toilets, but the main toilets are down some very steep steps!I would feel very comfortable to dine there alone.I will definitely be returning!Dietary restrictions: Great range of food. Requested gf and food arrived clearly marked as gf.The only downside is that if you have any allergies you have to order at the bar, not via the app, and that can take ages!
