The Punchbowl is a nice community pub on James reckitt Avenue. It's a traditional two roomed pub with dart board and pool table in the bar, also stage for Live entertainment. Nice staff lovely friendly landlady. It has the usual range of beers and lagers John Smith's bitter. Sadly there is no real Ale or hand pumps. There is outside seating to the front next to the main road.
Came for dinner but they don't do food anymore. Very much a sports bar vibe but they don't even have the world cup on, pints where good not cheap though, was nice and quiet very chill.
