Update: despite my review on here, and complaining to the correct channels about the last experience, all the same staff are still there AND I visited again today (my first visit since) and was subjected to the most horrific abuse, including being sworn at by staff, laughed at, attemptedly humiliated, and they even tried to claim they don’t work for shell so they can act with impunity (while wearing big bright yellow shorts with a massive shell logo on). I didn’t take my complaint very far last time as I gave them the benefit of the doubt that it was a one-off. But actually abusing paying customers seems to be policy here.Original review from 2 months ago: Terrible experience, I was spoken to very aggressively, rudely and disrespectfully by a staff member and when I politely and discreetly mentioned this to other staff, the other two ganged up on me and I was cajoled and bullied and laughed at, and one staff member even asked me to leave.All i had done was not pay my fuel immediately because I was using the other services at the garage, including the toilet, supermarket, coffee machine, subway etc.Perhaps if they do not wish people to use the other services they should not provide them.I wish I could give 0 stars

Great new car washes BUT since they have been installed I have never seen them both open at the same time - resulting in queues.\\n\\nI try to use the car wash on the way to work (between 6 - 630am weekdays) but very often - like today 12/05/23 - both have plastic traffic cones in front of them. Is that because they aren’t working or the car washes haven’t been opened up?\\n\\nI have gone into the garage previously to ask but most staff (there are some exceptions) aren’t particularly helpful.\\n\\nCan’t believe the garage has invested in these excellent car washes and they are open less than the previous ones.\\n\\nVery poor.

Called in yesterday the music was so loud couldn't hear what assistant was saying! App didn't deduct my fuel discount. Didn't get the receipt I asked for. Not the best experience.

Very rude staff...make you feel about 1inch high when I tried to explain I had momentarily forgotten my pin number and would go and get it from the car.Very belittling. Not good for a regular visitor to the store.*Edited to 1 star, they didn't deserve the two star originally given.

I reported a toilet not working to which the (grumpiest) girl behind the counter replied “it was working earlier”. Rude. All she had to say was sorry about that, we will get it looked at. Customer service capability of an apple. It’s no wonder the service sector struggles ?

Just wanted to say a HUGE thank you this morning to Fissal who, out of the kindness of his heart, replaced my flat tire. I wouldn't have been able to get my son to his theatre rehearsals without him. Fissal is a lovely young man and a real credit to his parents. Thank you so much

Decided to get some food with my mate before we went back to my house for a few drinks. My mate rang the bell, the woman ignored it. He rang it again, she ignored it. THEN she came over like “I F**KIN HEARD YA FIRST TIME” to which my awkward mate just started apologising as she stomped away to get the sausage roll he asked for. He was too nervous to ask for the hula hoops or monster munch. 10/10 experience, made me laugh.

Shocking one old man on ignored two of us outside sweeping the floor twice this has happened waited 15 minutes last time as the clerk was asleep in the back.Ilnever use them again id stay away late night if i was you!!!!

Stopped to use the facilties, when reaching the disable toilet it was locked. Had to then go to the till to get the key and go back. Have to say I was totally disappointed as toilet was a disgrace. Reported this to staff on duty.In this time of covid this toilet should not have been in this state.

I broke down yesterday 15th Jan at this service station and I just wanted to say how lovely the staff were. Nothing was to much trouble, they really looked after myself and my elderly mother. A big thank you so much to you all.
