Allerthorpe, Hodsow Ln, YorkMy last visit to the area and this was still being built, I was so not disappointed, fast and fresh with lovely staff who really made you feel welcome. Clean as a whistle too, top work ??Parking: Good sized spaces, well laid out.

The Balk, Pocklington, York, East Riding of YorkshireStunning little Motel with amazing rooms and staff.I stayed here for business for one night and it's the best stay in the area!The room was spotless and well insulated from noise.Tea and coffee were available in the room.The shower was powerful and clean, and the general fit and fittings were lovely.They have ample parking and perfect options for breakfast.Note I was caught in traffic, so I arrived late, but they ate not 24hr (10pm. close, I think)

71-73 Market St, Pocklington, YorkGreat little bar/cafe style eatery, with a good selection of cakes and lunch time snacks, great atmosphere, friendly staff. All food was cooked fresh after ordering.I would expect the atmosphere to be equally as good on a night if just having a drink.The only minor negative really and would have only liked to have knocked half a star off, was food order was a little slow to have been taken and arrived after ordering drinks - but all food was cooked fresh with an excellent tomato sauce to bacon ratio.For sure will pop in again.

3-5 Railway St, Pocklington, YorkWe all went as a family today at Pocklington Fisheries today. With it being raining today we dined in, I had Battered jumbo sausage and chips and I haven't tasted some wonderful food like this for a long time, the chips was nice and dry that I like personally and I never had such a nice tasting sausage before, cooked to perfection indeed ? we all will visit here very soon ??Parking: Easy to park in the town where the Fish shop is.Kid-friendliness: Kids can visit the Fish shop as usual.

The Ramblers Rest, Main St, Millington, YorkI can't speculate on the rooms as we only stopped in for something to eat. The food was amazing, all served with a smile! (It's hard to find these days) We even took a cake home for later. Will definitely be returning!

Really a great return to form. Pleasant atmos...staff willing.( always good anyways) ..menu interesting...brilliant and tasty...hope we can get in again...even do a not half bad Negroni ... yes!...cocktails!!

Melbourne Road, Pocklington, YorkWe went to the lakeside cafe , for mothers day dining was fabulous well cooked food beef Sunday roast and gorgious cherry crumble was superb , the food and celebration cakes are lovely here would definatly recommend lovely helpful staff here great food choices we shall be back u should get a Mitchellin Star Award for food wow.
