A great place for breakfast. Warm, welcoming and great coffee and food. Always served with a smile. Our ‘go to’ cafe in Pocklington, while waiting for our dog to be groomed nearby !

A busy cafe with plenty of seating inside and out. It’s dog friendly too! We had cake and drinks and they were delicious!! Like the modern decor! The staff were friendly too

Had the poached eggs with chipotle pulled pork. Topped with pickled cabbage - best thing I’ve eaten in weeks - well balanced and delicious flavours in the ‘Eggs Porky’. Staff were prompt and polite, chilled atmosphere with good music. Loved it.

Our go to place for brunch in the area. Best food by far. Service is good. I find the indoor benches can be a little uncomfortable.

Came for lunch & just had the best & poshest salad I’ve ever had. The only negative is that I’m now going to undo the good I’ve done by trying the delicious looking cakes. Very friendly staff, busy which is great for business & you can see the food being freshly prepared *****

Called in for tea and cake My banana and chocolate cake was rather dry and just crumbled but maybe that’s how it should be. My husband’s Victoria cake was incredibly moist. We both had tea I asked for tea for two expecting a pot of tea and a pot of hot water when it came it was literally a cup with a tea bag and hot water !!! £2.40 each for a tea bag and a cup full of hot water totally ridiculous !!! So over priced we were both gobsmacked ? I know costs have gone up but your tea prices are shocking especially for what you get unbelievable. So obviously we won’t be calling in again for tea or cake.

We called here for coffee and a bite to eat. The food here was absolutely wonderful! It is so nice to see a menu with healthy and interesting options. I opted for the smoothie bowl with avocado toast - yum! There was about 5 or 6 things on the menu I was tempted by, which is unusual for me. It was fabulous and we are sure to visit again very soon. Maybe we will try one of the lunch items next time. Well done Whisk!!

Whisk is a quaint, cosy and friendly cafe in the centre of Pocklington. The coffee is good and the veggie-breakfast excellent! The menu can be adapted for Gluten Free. Staff are friendly - it is a must visit if you are passing through the area ☺️

Pricey but nicey.....some might consider a small whisk instead of the traditional teaspoon rather pretentious but could be useful for frothing milk. Tried the sausage bun, which was much more than an ordinary sandwich. Imaginative menu, but the prices and trendy atmosphere would put me off going frequently. Very busy.

We had a gorgeous day, 25 degrees sitting in the shade of the huge umbrellas enjoying brunch that can only be described as angels dancing on my tongue. Wonderful fresh local ingredients all served with a smile. We will definitely be recommending This is Whisk to our guests. Thank you.

Called in for lunch based on previous trip advisor reviews. Decided on the Rainbow Salad. I had lemon chicken and my husband had grilled haloumi. It was by far the tastiest and beautifully presented salad we both have ever tasted! Leaves, tomatoes, nuts, seeds, half an avocado, beetroot and other very tasty and colourful things. Our only criticism was that these salads were not advertised very well on their menu. It just said multicoloured leaves, nuts and seeds when there was so much more. Excellent service too.

Nice little cafe with a nice atmosphere and service. The food was lovely, and I will be returning to try the cakes. I felt the price was reasonable and fair, especially compared to some other places that I have visited recently. Thank you
