Fabulous place. Lovely fresh clean rooms with very comfy bed. Food was amazing. Lovely seating inside and out for a nice casual drink. Car park has good size parking spaces. Could not ask for friendly people nothing is too much trouble for any of them. Steak and Ale pie is a must.Will definitely stay again.

Can’t fault this place. Modern clean rooms, friendly staff, good reasonably priced food and well looked after public areas both inside and out.Rooms: Clean, modern and well appointed.Walkability: Just under a mile and a half from the village of Pocklington which had a good selection of shops, pubs and places to eat along with a couple of supermarkets. Bus stops just outside the property which would at least take you into the village.

Stayed here for work and what a quality place . Rooms were spotless and the bed was comfy . Everything you need to hand best shower I’ve ever used. Food was great and service was top drawer . Beautiful area aswel away from the hustle and bustle . Id stay here again any day . Well worth a visit

We stayed as did others whilst undertaking The Way of the Roses. Clean comfortable rooms, with good hot shower for aching legs and other parts. Evening meal super at a fair price, with a bar to relax in. The owners work hard, with attention to detail in order to provide guests with an excellent experience.

We stayed as part of a group meeting locally. We were very impressed by the quality of the accommodation, the welcoming staff and delicious food. We wouldn't hesitate to stay here again if we are visiting the area.

Unfortunately all the bathrooms with walk in showers were taken, so had to manage with shower hose on the taps, & very high bath panel to get my leg over!!!Everywhere was very clean, Amy was very attentive, & helpful.Bed was very comfortable, room was cleaned on a 2 night stay.Breakfast & evening meal, good menu options, & good size portions.Overall very good choice & parking convenient outside accommodation.Would definitely recommend it to friends & family.

This is a gem of a motel. Friendly and efficient staff, smashing home made food, excellent value for money. The place is so clean, their cleaners deserve an award, no dust anywhere ! easy location and parking a great overnight stay en route to somewhere else.

Spent one evening here 2nd March and certainly not disappointing. The room was very clean and larger bathroom than expected. Would definitely stay here again! Our host was lovely too. The breakfast was lovely, the eggs were cooked perfectly. Thank you, from Sandra & Steve

We were welcomed the minute we entered reception. The managers were extremely helpful, even organising an early check in after a phone call the previous day. The room was very clean and beautifully appointed. The large shower was a real bonus. It was nice to be able to park outside the room. The road was busy but calmed down at night. We had a evening meal which was well cooked ' pub grub'. It was good value for money. The waitress was very attentive and so polite. The breakfast was also excellent. We can not fault this motel. It is an excellent base for York or just an overnight stay. We recommend it unreservedly.
