“Ordered sweet sour box and shredded chicken salt pepper with chips, fried rice and fried noodles. Food was freshly cooked, piping hot and very quick, tasted delicious. Definitely worth a visit for some beautiful food.
I marked down one star for atmosphere as I think it would be nice to have the spare dining room as a small restaurant separate to bar area. But still really enjoyed our visit.
Will be back again. ??”

“The Crooked Billet is a friendly traditional village pub. There is a wide choice of beers lager and cider including John Smith's bitter and two hand pulled cask conditioned real ales which were in excellent condition when I visited. This cosy 400 year old former Tetley pub serves meals and Sunday roast. I haven't tried the food, but the menu looks very inviting. There is a dart board in the bar, a covered outdoor seating area, and the pub is dog friendly. Highly recommended.
