Went in mid-morning on a whim as we liked the quirky premise of a coffee shop with an Indian twist. The coffee itself was excellent and the food (chapli plate and shami plate) was delicious and a lovely change from the usual seaside fayre of fish and chips. The service was very pleasant and polite. Sadly we were only passing through as I wouldn't hesitate to visit here again.

Great value takeaway food. Same choice as eating in, just as delicious. The service is always friendly staff were very helpful.

Avoid at all costs. Arrogant non accommodating staff - as soon as you sit down they ask if you’d like poppadoms, we said yeah please , they asked how many; we asked for 2. They brought 4 out with a pickle tray, we asked for 4 tap waters and brought a bottle of water, £12 for a curry with 4 pieces of chicken in. Staff didn’t once asked how our meal was. When we went to pay it was £78 for the bill, to which we noticed they charged us £7.60 for the poppadoms. And extra price for the pickle tray although we didn’t get an option. £4 for a bottle of water, do not fall for the poppadoms. They are NOT free. Quality of the food just shocking. Chicken tikka starter was plain bland chicken with no flavour- when we paid we mentioned how the food wasn’t great to which they replied ‘okay’ - completely unbothered, didn’t ask questions etc. please don’t go there. They also wanted 4 people to have a curry each. We ordered a curry between 2 people , they came back trying to make us buy a curry each

We had a takeaway from this restaurant last Friday while we were in holiday with the family in Withernsea. The food was so good that my son and his partner went in to eat as a couple last night, and my husband and I went in this evening. We would go again happily if we come back to Withernsea another time. And would highly recommend it to others who enjoy Indian food. However the restaurant does not serve alcohol so you have to take your own!

We were on holiday and wanted a curry. The reviews were amazing, as was the food, hence the 5☆ review. We placed an order for collection, and when we collected it, the manager had a go at the young lads for getting a drink order incorrect. I understand the frustration, but to do this in front of customers and a full restraunt, I found this very uncomfortable, and I honestly had to keep my opinions to myself. The food was amazing, but treat the staff a bit more respectfully at ALL times. We all get thongs wrong sometimes.

Had lunch today and chose the fish masala and chips with side salad. The fish was beautifully cooked and the batter lovely and crisp. The service was very friendly and professional. We will definitely be going againHighly recommended.

went for a birthday meal never again. Saturday night it was packed it was only after waiting 35 mins to get the order taken we realized why it was packed. everyone was waiting to get served. even when half had left we were waiting about 40 mins between service. When the food did arrive it looked good but was all bone with no meat on, I don't do picking scraps off bones. cost £150 for 5 of us poppadoms 90p each wow. I found it very expensive. I would have liked to have seen the bill not just given an amount to pay. Go to the Alexandra Hotel get a good meal at half the price

Weekend end away birthday tea, went to this place after reading reviews. Well all I can say it's as good as they say according to my wife best inndian she as ever had. Some really good choices all cooked to perfection at very reasonable prices. The staff are very attentive and a very good vibe. Word of caution please book first because it is a very busy establishment

If you like authentic Indian cuisine, go to Aldi !Ordered 2 curries, both exactly the same sauce (cheap paste mix) with different meat. Paid £30 and deeply regretted every penny. It was as Saturday as soon as they opened but it’s not a cheap menu and I felt robbed.

Hands down the best curry I have ever had, added everything I requested and cooked perfectly to my taste. Fabulous staff, so friendly and helpful. 5 star is not enough to rate this place. Brilliant thank you for a lovely evening. X

I came for a cheese burger but the manager very kindly suggested to try Shami Toastie. I am so glad I actually ordered that. The flavour was out of this world. Not too strong not blant at all. Balanced flavour and spices. Defo ordering it again. I also had meet samosas and they were probably the best I ever had. They were better than some homemade I had. The service is excellent and the people are very very kind. Pleasant experience. Totally recommend it.
