10 Pier Rd, Withernsea6 of us came here before checking into our caravan park. Had a fantastic veggie and traditional breakfast plus jacket potatoes. Eggs and bacon cooked to perfection. Really friendly cafe with an old fashioned charm. Took me back to my childhood days. Shame we dont live locally. Highly recommend. Fantastic

The Spread Eagle
Spread eagle, 72 Queen St, WithernseaI know it’s only a jacket potato ? but it’s not very often they are worthy of a review , and today they were!
Oven baked which seems rare these days , lovely and fluffy , excellent juicy prawns and a delicious fresh and crisps salad , we loved it, and so nice to be able to sit outside in the sun.

The Golden Haddock
88 Queen St, WithernseaCame to the far east for a few days (I’m from the North West) and I thought we had decent fish and chips but visited here today and it was the best fish we’ve had in a long while.
Freshly cooked to order, lovely and crisp minimal grease. Chips were so tasty too just the right amount of salt and vinegar. It’s the type of place you’ll say for years ‘remember that chippy and that nice fish we had’ and you’ll say hmmm.
That’s this place, we’ve loved the area and hopefully we’ll be back sometime to eat there again.

Southcliff Fisheries
8 Southcliff Rd, WithernseaAmazing value for money and the lovely staff who clearly enjoy their job.
The fish was so flakey it had the perfect consistency, chips were amazing and the best curry sauce I have ever had. I am sad that I don't live closer because this is better than the fish and chips near me.
When I am next in the area I will certainly be back.

10 Seaside Rd, WithernseaThere are not many places to me that will rival my fav fish shop in Whitby BUT this one does.
The fish was beautiful cooked in a fabulous batter . Chips just cooked to perfection.
Service was quick friendly and always with a smile.
Cannot recommend this place enough. We WILL be back

We actually ate here twice due to the quality of our first order.
Only thing that was slightly off putting was the dodgy decor.

The price was so reasonable and my daughter and her friends said that it had everything you needed and a family could happily stay in one of their chalets for their summer holiday .

The portion sizes were very generous. Staff were lovely, helpful and friendly. The meals were delivered quickly. Wonderful! Thank you.?
