Simply put, the best take away food in town. Fish and Chips are excellent. Saying that, the batter sometimes isn't as crunchy, probably from rushing - I don't know, but the taste is always the same. I have been there several times and I was never disappointed. We've been a few times there with my family as we all like it there, and have tried several other things. All are really nice, particularly the kebab. It's better than some kebab places I have had from.

Great place to sit and eat, the place is clean and tidy, staff are friendly and polite. Fish is cooked to order so fresh out of the fryer when you receive it.

Friendly staff. Service was a little slow, but I know that can't always be helped. Portions were huge though, definitely value for money. And they did Spam fritters which I was happy about. Not many places do anymore.

I got the Large Cod and my misses got the regular haddock. The hadock was softer and the cod was a little harder. I gave 4 stars as tbr curry sauce was exceptional. Also the portion was a good size. The flavour of the fish batter was great.Service was not satisfactory, I had to ask for the table to be cleaned, asked for cutlery and for napkins.Atmosphere is not great, the cars are very loud and you can hear them. But at least you can sit down and the place was empty.

After visiting the lighthouse the Fish and Chips smelt good here, we ordered a seafood platter and a cod. I had a small taste of one of the scallops in batter and the dark brown colour and stale oil taste confirmed this was a poor choice, the one Scampi I opened, was full of liquid. The chips were hot and fresh but very ordinary, the Cod had a lot of grey black parts and was tasteless, the batter much the same, the frothy coffee was nice, there were no sauces available for cafe diners , there were a good few regulars it seemed, and they appeared happy enough although they had to ask for a Chicken Curry to be heated up properly as chicken was cold. A very decent fish and chips. Be warned, if you are an ethnic, more accurately, you’re not white! The locals here will stare at you like an alien ? You’ll stand out like a sore thumb.

I orderedOne, large battered sausageSmall chips and one small cup of gravy. They delivered me 2 small battered sausages. I ordered ONE SMALL BATTERED SAUSAGE, I'm a little bit mad but this has only happened once thankfully. But the food there is great ?

Had two fish specials off the board which was fish and chips plus a side, bread and butter and cup of tea. Great value for money. The eating area is very plain but it kept clean. Simply, it's a good stop.

Really nice food (they fry with veg oil, for anyone not wanting beef dripping). the fish and chips are stellar as is the Indian meals they make too (usually its one or the other). Very accommodating to our family needs, and attentive helpful staff.

Was recommended this place by a friend and it didn't disappoint. All five of us really enjoyed our food and found it great value. Unfortunately, throughout the meal a gentleman sat next to us pushing noisy toy cars across the table to entertain his infant son, which was a bit annoying. Normally, I wouldn't let this affect a review, but as we were finishing this man and his son stood up and went behind the counter, evidencing that he worked there. The place was nice and seemed clean, the staff were friendly and I'm definitely looking forward to going back and trying more dishes from the menu. The curry sauce was particularly delicious.

Visited on Wednesday when the rain finally stopped and we ventured out of the caravan. Really nice fish and chips and reasonably priced. Friend, efficient service.

Visited on a Sunday after a trip to Spurn and this was the closest fish and chip shop that was open with sit-in and consistent reviews. Great deal on fish special- £7.99 for fish, chips, peas, tea or coffee and buttered bread. Fish cooked to order, perfectly fresh fish and very tasty. Absolutely nothing to complain about.
